2 Samuel 14:22

Joab bowed his face toward the ground and lay himself down and blessed the king. Then Joab said, “Today your servant knows that I have found favor in your sight, my lord, O king, in that the king has done the request of his servant.”

And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed himself, and thanked the king: and Joab said, To day thy servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servant.

Joab bowed deeply in reverence and blessed the king. “I’m reassured to know that I’m still in your good graces and have your confidence, since the king is taking the counsel of his servant.” 23-24 Joab got up, went to Geshur, and brought Absalom to Jerusalem. The king said, “He may return to his house, but he is not to see me face-to-face.” So Absalom returned home, but was not permitted to see the king. 25-27 This Absalom! There wasn’t a man in all Israel talked about so much for his handsome good looks—and not a blemish on him from head to toe! When he cut his hair—he always cut it short in the spring because it had grown so heavy—the weight of the hair from his head was over two pounds! Three sons were born to Absalom, and one daughter. Her name was Tamar—and she was a beauty. 28-31 Absalom lived in Jerusalem for two years, and not once did he see the king face-to-face. He sent for Joab to get him in to see the king, but Joab still wouldn’t budge. He tried a second time and Joab still wouldn’t. So he told his servants, “Listen. Joab’s field adjoins mine, and he has a crop of barley in it. Go set fire to it.” So Absalom’s servants set fire to the field. That got him moving—Joab came to Absalom at home and said, “Why did your servants set my field on fire?”

Joab fell on his face to the ground, prostrated himself and blessed the king; then Joab said, “Today your servant knows that I have found favor in your sight, O my lord, the king, in that the king has performed the [m]request of his servant.”

Joab bowed down with his face toward the ground. He did it to honor the king. And he asked God to bless the king. He said, “You are my king and master. Today I know that you are pleased with me. You have given me what I asked for.”

فَانْحَنَى يُوآبُ بِوَجْهِهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ وَسَجَدَ وَبَارَكَ الْمَلِكَ قَائِلاً: «الْيَوْمَ عَلِمَ عَبْدُكَ أَنِّي قَدْ حَظِيتُ بِرِضَاكَ يَا سَيِّدِي الْمَلِكَ، إِذِ اسْتَجَابَ الْمَلِكُ لِطَلَبِ عَبْدِهِ».

Joab bøjede sig ærbødigt for kongen og sagde: „Nu ved jeg, at du værdsætter mig, for du har indvilliget i at gøre det, jeg bad dig om.”

Joab verneigte sich, warf sich vor David zu Boden und rief: »Nun weiß ich, dass du, mein König, mir deine Gunst geschenkt hast, denn du erfüllst meine Bitte! Gott segne dich dafür!«

Joab s’inclina face contre terre pour se prosterner et dit au roi : Dieu te bénisse, Majesté. Maintenant, je sais que tu es bien disposé à mon égard, ô roi, mon seigneur, puisque le roi accepte de faire ce que son serviteur lui a suggéré.

Nagluhod dayon si Joab bilang pagtahod sa hari kag nagsiling, “Kabay pa nga pakamaayuhon ka sang Ginoo, Mahal nga Hari. Karon nahibaluan ko nga nalipay ka sa akon tungod kay gintuman mo ang akon pangabay.”

그러자요압이땅에엎드려절하며왕 을 위해 복을 빌고 “저의 요구를 들어 주시는 것을 보니 이제서야 왕이 저를 총애하시는 줄 알겠습니다” 하고

Joab liet zich voor de koning op de grond vallen, dankte hem en zei: ‘Nu weet ik dat u om mij geeft! Want u hebt mijn verzoek ingewilligd!’

Joav föll ner inför David med ansiktet mot marken och välsignade honom och sa: ”Nu vet jag att du är välvilligt inställd till mig eftersom du har uppfyllt min önskan!”

โยอาบก็หมอบกราบซบหน้าลงกับพื้นถวายคำนับ ถวายพระพรและทูลว่า “บัดนี้ข้าพระบาททราบแล้วว่า ฝ่าพระบาททรงกรุณาข้าพระบาท เพราะทรงให้ตามที่ข้าพระบาททูลขอ”

约押俯伏在地，叩谢王恩，说：“今天仆人在我主我王面前蒙了恩，因为王应允了仆人的请求。”

约 押 就 面 伏 於 地 叩 拜 ， 祝 谢 於 王 ， 又 说 ： 王 既 应 允 仆 人 所 求 的 ， 仆 人 今 日 知 道 在 我 主 我 王 眼 前 蒙 恩 了 。

約押俯伏在地，叩謝王恩，說：「今天僕人在我主我王面前蒙了恩，因為王應允了僕人的請求。」
