2 Samuel 14:11

Then she said, “Please let the king remember the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not continue to destroy, otherwise they will destroy my son.” And David said, “As the Lord lives, not a single hair [from the head] of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the Lord thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

“Let the king invoke the name of God,” said the woman, “so this self-styled vigilante won’t ruin everything, to say nothing of killing my son.”“As surely as God lives,” he said, “not so much as a hair of your son’s head will be lost.”

Then she said, “Please let the king remember the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not continue to destroy, otherwise they will destroy my son.” And he said, “As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

She said, “Please pray to the Lord your God. Pray that he will keep our nearest male relative from killing my other son. Then my son won’t be destroyed.”“You can be sure that the Lord lives,” the king said. “And you can be just as sure that not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

She said, “Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”“As surely as the Lord lives,” he said, “not one hair of your son’s head will fall to the ground.”

Then she said, “Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied, “not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”

فَقَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ: «احْلِفْ لِي باسْمِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ أَنْ تَمْنَعَ طَالِبَ الدَّمِ مِنْ إِرَاقَةِ مَزِيدٍ مِنَ الدِّمَاءِ لِئَلّا يُهْلِكَ ابْنِي». فَأَجَابَهَا: «حَيٌّ هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِنَّهُ لَنْ تَسْقُطَ شَعْرَةٌ مِنْ رَأْسِ ابْنِكِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ».

Entonces ella le suplicó:—¡Ruego a Su Majestad invocar al Señor su Dios, para que quien deba vengar la muerte de mi hijo no aumente mi desgracia matando a mi otro hijo!—¡Tan cierto como que el Señor vive —respondió el rey—, juro que tu hijo no perderá ni un solo cabello!

La femme répliqua : Que sa majesté veuille prendre cet engagement au nom de l’Eternel son Dieu, pour que l’homme chargé de punir la mort[c] de mon fils n’aggrave pas encore le malheur en faisant mourir celui qui me reste.Le roi dit : Aussi vrai que l’Eternel est vivant, il ne tombera pas à terre un cheveu de la tête de ton fils !

妇人说：“求王凭你的上帝耶和华起誓，不许报仇者杀人，留我儿一命。”王说：“我凭永活的耶和华起誓，你的儿子必毫发无损。”

妇 人 说 ： 愿 王 记 念 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 神 ， 不 许 报 血 仇 的 人 施 行 灭 绝 ， 恐 怕 他 们 灭 绝 我 的 儿 子 。 王 说 ： 我 指 着 永 生 的 耶 和 华 起 誓 ： 你 的 儿 子 连 一 根 头 发 也 不 致 落 在 地 上 。

婦人說：「求王憑你的上帝耶和華起誓，不許報仇者殺人，留我兒一命。」王說：「我憑永活的耶和華起誓，你的兒子必毫髮無損。」
