2 Samuel 12:20

Then David got up from the ground, washed, anointed himself [with olive oil], changed his clothes, and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he came [back] to his own house, and when he asked, they set food before him and he ate.

Så rejste David sig op fra gulvet, gik i bad, gned sig med en vellugtende olie og tog rent tøj på. Derefter gik han ind i Herrens hus for at tilbede, hvorefter han vendte tilbage til paladset og bad om at få noget mad sat frem.
