2 Samuel 1:4

David said to him, “How did it go? Please tell me.” He answered, “The people have fled from the battle. Also, many of the people have fallen and are dead; Saul and Jonathan his son are also dead.”

And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

“So what happened?” said David. “What’s the news?”He said, “The Israelites have fled the battlefield, leaving a lot of their dead comrades behind. And Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.”

David said to him, “How did things go? Please tell me.” And he said, “The people have fled from the battle, and also many of the people have fallen and are dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.”

“What happened?” David asked. “Tell me.”He said, “Israel’s men ran away from the battle. Many of them were killed. Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.”

“What happened?” David asked. “Tell me.”“The men fled from the battle,” he replied. “Many of them fell and died. And Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.”

‘What happened?’ David asked. ‘Tell me.’‘The men fled from the battle,’ he replied. ‘Many of them fell and died. And Saul and his son Jonathan are dead.’

“What happened?” David demanded. “Tell me how the battle went.”The man replied, “Our entire army fled from the battle. Many of the men are dead, and Saul and his son Jonathan are also dead.”

فَسَأَلَهُ دَاوُدُ: «مَاذَا جَرَى؟ أَخْبِرْنِي» فَقَالَ: «لَقَدْ هَرَبَ الْجَيْشُ مِنْ سَاحَةِ الْقِتَالِ، وَقُتِلَ جَمعٌ غَفِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ، وَمَاتَ شَاوُلُ وَابْنُهُ يُونَاثَانُ أَيْضاً»

„Hvordan gik det?” spurgte David. „Fortæl mig om slaget!”Manden svarede: „Hele hæren flygtede over hals og hoved, og mange mænd lå sårede eller døde på slagmarken. Også Saul og hans søn Jonatan omkom.”

– Qu’est-il arrivé ? poursuivit David, raconte-le-moi, je t’en prie.– L’armée d’Israël s’est enfuie du champ de bataille, beaucoup d’hommes ont été tués. Même Saül et Jonathan son fils sont morts.

Nagpamangkot si David, “Ngaa, ano ang natabo? Sugiri ako.” Nagsiling siya, “Nagpalagyo ang mga soldado sang Israel sa inaway. Madamo sa ila ang nagkalamatay, pati na si Saul kag ang iya anak nga si Jonatan.”
