2 Kings 8:12

Hazael said, “Why are you weeping, my lord?” He answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the sons (descendants) of Israel. You will set their strongholds on fire, kill their young men with the sword, smash their children to pieces, and rip up their pregnant women.”

And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

Hazael said, “Why does my master weep?”“Because,” said Elisha, “I know what you’re going to do to the children of Israel:burn down their forts,murder their youth,smash their babies,rip open their pregnant women.”

Hazael said, “Why does my lord weep?” Then he [e]answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the sons of Israel: their strongholds you will set on fire, and their young men you will kill with the sword, and their little ones you will dash in pieces, and their women with child you will rip up.”

“Why are you weeping?” asked Hazael.“Because I know how much harm you will do to the people of Israel,” Elisha answered. “You will set fire to their cities that have high walls around them. You will kill their young men with your swords. You will smash their little children on the ground. You will rip open their pregnant women.”

“Why is my lord weeping?” asked Hazael.“Because I know the harm you will do to the Israelites,” he answered. “You will set fire to their fortified places, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women.”

“What’s the matter, my lord?” Hazael asked him.Elisha replied, “I know the terrible things you will do to the people of Israel. You will burn their fortified cities, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women!”

فَسَأَلَهُ حَزَائِيلُ: «لِمَاذَا يَبْكِي سَيِّدِي؟» فَأَجَابَهُ: «لأَنِّي عَرَفْتُ مَا سَتُنْزِلُهُ بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ شَرٍّ، فَإِنَّكَ سَتُحْرِقُ حُصُونَهُمْ وَتَقْتُلُ شُبَّانَهُمْ وَتَذْبَحُ أَطْفَالَهُمْ وَتَشُقُّ بُطُونَ حَوَامِلِهِمْ».

„Hvad er der i vejen?” spurgte Hazael.„Ak,” svarede Elisa, „du er manden, som skal bringe store lidelser over Israels folk. Deres fæstninger vil du nedbrænde, de unge krigere vil du hugge ned med sværdet, spædbørnene vil du knuse mod klippeblokkene, og du vil sprætte maven op på de gravide kvinder.”

»Mein Herr, warum weinst du?«, fragte Hasaël, und er antwortete: »Weil ich weiß, welches Leid du den Israeliten zufügen wirst: Ihre Städte wirst du in Brand setzen und ihre jungen Männer mit dem Schwert umbringen. Du wirst ihre Säuglinge zerschmettern und den schwangeren Frauen den Bauch aufschlitzen.«

―¿Por qué llora mi señor? —le preguntó Jazael.―Porque yo sé bien que vas a causarles mucho daño a los israelitas —respondió—. Vas a incendiar sus fortalezas, y a matar a sus jóvenes a filo de espada; despedazarás a los niños y les abrirás el vientre a las mujeres embarazadas.

—¿Por qué llora mi señor? —le preguntó Jazael.—Porque yo sé bien que vas a causarles mucho daño a los israelitas —respondió—. Vas a incendiar sus fortalezas, y a matar a sus jóvenes a filo de espada; despedazarás a los niños y les abrirás el vientre a las mujeres embarazadas.

Hazaël lui demanda : Pourquoi mon seigneur pleure-t-il ?Elisée répondit : Parce que je sais tout le mal que tu feras aux Israélites, tu incendieras leurs villes fortifiées, tu massacreras leurs jeunes gens, tu écraseras leurs petits enfants et tu fendras le ventre de leurs femmes enceintes[d].

Ginpamangkot siya ni Hazael, “Sir, ngaa nagahibi ka?” Nagsabat siya, “Tungod nahibaluan ko ang malain nga pagahimuon mo sa mga Israelinhon. Pagasunugon mo ang ila napaderan nga mga banwa, pamatyon mo ang ila mga pamatan-on sa inaway, dugmukon mo ang ila magagmay nga mga bata, kag pagaririan mo ang tiyan sang ila nagabulusong nga mga babayi.”

그러자 하사엘이 물었다. “선생님, 무슨 일로 우십니까?” “나는 당신이 이스라엘 백성에게 행할 끔찍한 일을 알고 있소. 당신은 그들의 요새에 불을 지르고 젊은이들을 칼로 죽이며 어린 아이들을 메어쳐서 죽이고 임신한 여자들의 배를 가를 것이오.”

‘Wat is er aan de hand, heer?’ vroeg Hazaël hem. Elisa antwoordde: ‘Ik weet welke vreselijke dingen u zult gaan doen met het volk van Israël, u zult hun forten verbranden, de jonge mannen doden, hun kinderen tegen de rotsen doodslaan en de buiken van zwangere vrouwen opensnijden.’

E perguntou Hazael: “Por que meu senhor está chorando?”Ele respondeu: “Porque sei das coisas terríveis que você fará aos israelitas. Você incendiará suas fortalezas, matará seus jovens à espada, esmagará as crianças e rasgará o ventre das suas mulheres grávidas”.

“Que é que se passa, senhor?”, perguntou-lhe Hazael. Eliseu respondeu: “Eu sei as coisas terríveis que farás ao povo de Israel: queimarás as suas fortalezas, matarás os seus jovens, esmagarás os bebés contra os rochedos, desventrarás as grávidas!”

– De ce plângi, stăpâne? a întrebat Hazael.– Pentru că ştiu răul pe care îl vei face israeliţilor, a răspuns el. Vei da foc cetăţilor lor întărite, îi vei ucide cu sabia pe tinerii lor, îi vei tăia în bucăţi pe copiii lor şi le vei spinteca pe femeile lor însărcinate.

– Почему мой господин плачет? – спросил Хазаил.– Потому что я знаю, какое зло ты причинишь исраильтянам, – ответил он. – Ты сожжёшь их крепости, юношей их убьёшь мечом, разобьёшь их младенцев о землю и порубишь их беременных женщин.

”Varför gråter du, min herre?” frågade Hasael. ”Därför att jag vet vilka fruktansvärda saker du kommer att göra mot israeliterna”, svarade Elisha. ”Du kommer att bränna ner deras fästningar, döda de unga männen med svärd, krossa de små barnen mot marken och skära upp magen på havande kvinnor.”

哈薛问：“我主为什么哭呢？”以利沙说：“因为我知道你会加害以色列人。你会放火烧他们的堡垒，用刀杀戮他们的壮丁，摔死他们的孩童，剖开他们的孕妇。”

哈 薛 说 ： 我 主 为 甚 麽 哭 ？ 回 答 说 ： 因 为 我 知 道 你 必 苦 害 以 色 列 人 ， 用 火 焚 烧 他 们 的 保 障 ， 用 刀 杀 死 他 们 的 壮 丁 ， 摔 死 他 们 的 婴 孩 ， 剖 开 他 们 的 孕 妇 。

哈薛問：「我主為什麼哭呢？」以利沙說：「因為我知道你會加害以色列人。你會放火燒他們的堡壘，用刀殺戮他們的壯丁，摔死他們的孩童，剖開他們的孕婦。」
