2 Kings 25:22

Now over the people whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left in the land of Judah, he appointed [as governor] Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan.

And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.

Now as for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan over them.

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, had left some people behind in Judah. He appointed Gedaliah to govern them. Gedaliah was the son of Ahikam. Ahikam was the son of Shaphan.

أَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ الشَّعْبِ الَّذِينَ تَرَكَهُمْ نَبُوخَذْنَصَّرُ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ فِي أَرْضِ يَهُوذَا، فَقَدْ وَكَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ جَدَلْيَا بْنَ أَخِيقَامَ بْنِ شَافَانَ.

Kong Nebukadnezar udpegede Gedalja, søn af Ahikam, som var søn af Shafan, til guvernør over landet og den rest, som var efterladt der,

Über die zurückgebliebene Bevölkerung von Juda, die Nebukadnezar nicht gefangen genommen hatte, setzte er einen Statthalter ein: Gedalja, einen Sohn von Ahikam und Enkel von Schafan.
