2 Kings 13:23

Men Herren viste nåde imod Israels folk på grund af den pagt, han havde sluttet med Abraham, Isak og Jakob. Han ville ikke helt udslette dem, og endnu ville han ikke sende dem i landflygtighed.

Men Herren var barmhärtig mot dem och hade medlidande med dem för det förbunds skull som han slutit med Abraham, Isak och Jakob. Han ville inte utplåna dem eller driva bort dem ur sin åsyn.
