2 Kings 12:7

Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest and the [other] priests and said to them, “Why are you not repairing the damage of the house (temple)? Now then, do not take any more money from your acquaintances, but turn it all over for [the repair of] the damages of the house.” [You are no longer responsible for this work. I will take it into my own hands.]

Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.

King Joash called Jehoiada the priest and the company of priests and said, “Why haven’t you renovated this sorry-looking Temple? You are forbidden to take any more money for Temple repairs—from now on, hand over everything you get.”

Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests and said to them, “Why do you not repair the damages of the house? Now therefore take no more money from your acquaintances, but pay it for the damages of the house.”

So the king sent for Jehoiada the priest and the other priests. He asked them, “Why aren’t you repairing the temple where it needs it? Don’t take any more money from the people in charge of the treasures. Instead, hand it over so the temple can be repaired.”

Therefore King Joash summoned Jehoiada the priest and the other priests and asked them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage done to the temple? Take no more money from your treasurers, but hand it over for repairing the temple.”

فَاسْتَدْعَى الْمَلِكُ يَهُوآشُ يَهُويَادَاعَ رَئِيسَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَسَائِرَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «لِمَاذَا لَمْ تُرَمِّمُوا مَا تَهَدَّمَ فِي هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ؟ وَالآنَ لَا تَأْخُذُوا فِضَّةً مِنْ أَمِينِ الْمَالِ، بَلْ لِتَظَلَّ مُخَصَّصَةً لِتَرْمِيمِ مَا تَهَدَّمَ مِنْ هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ».

Men i kong Joash’ 23. regeringsår var præsterne endnu ikke begyndt på arbejdet.

Gani ginpatawag ni Haring Joash si Jehoyada kag ang iban pa nga mga pari kag ginpamangkot, “Ngaa wala pa ninyo ginpakay-o ang templo? Sugod subong indi na ninyo paggastuha ang kuwarta sa inyo kaugalingon nga mga kinahanglanon. Dapat gastuhon na ini sa pagpakay-o sang templo.”

그래서 그는 여호야다와 다른 제사장들을 불러 물었다. “어째서 당신들은 성전을 수리하지 않았소? 이제부터 당신들이 거둬들인 돈을 보관하지 말고 다른 사람에게 넘겨 주어 성전 수리를 하게 하시오.”

Joas riep Jojada en de andere priesters bij zich en vroeg: ‘Waarom hebt u niets aan de tempel gedaan? Gebruik vanaf dit moment de persoonlijke giften die u van vrienden en bekenden krijgt niet meer voor uw eigen behoeften, alles moet nu worden gebruikt om de tempel weer in goede staat te krijgen.’

Por isso o rei Joás chamou o sacerdote Joiada e os outros sacerdotes e lhes perguntou: “Por que vocês não estão fazendo as reformas no templo? Não recolham mais prata com seus tesoureiros, mas deixem-na para as reformas”.

Por isso, Joás mandou chamar Jeoiada e os outros sacerdotes e perguntou-lhes: “Por que razão ainda nada fizeram para restaurar o templo? Não utilizem mais dinheiro nenhum para cobrir as vossas necessidades pessoais. Daqui em diante, tudo o que for recebido deverá ser empregado com o fim de restaurar o templo.”

Joash kallade då till sig Jojada och de andra prästerna. ”Varför har ni inte gjort några reparationer i templet?” frågade han dem. ”Nu får ni inte längre använda något av templets inkomster för era egna behov[b], utan från och med nu ska ni ge allt till dem som reparerar templet!”

约阿施召来耶何耶大祭司及其他祭司，对他们说：“你们为什么还不修殿呢？不要再向奉献的人收银子了，要把所收的银子交出来修殿。”

所 以 约 阿 施 王 召 了 大 祭 司 耶 何 耶 大 和 众 祭 司 来 ， 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 怎 麽 不 修 理 殿 的 破 坏 之 处 呢 ？ 从 今 以 後 ， 你 们 不 要 从 所 认 识 的 人 再 收 银 子 ， 要 将 所 收 的 交 出 来 ， 修 理 殿 的 破 坏 之 处 。

約阿施召來耶何耶大祭司及其他祭司，對他們說：「你們為什麼還不修殿呢？不要再向奉獻的人收銀子了，要把所收的銀子交出來修殿。」
