2 Kings 12:4

Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money for the dedicated things which is brought into the house of the Lord, in current money, both the money of each man’s assessment [for all those bound by vows], and all the money which any man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house (temple) of the Lord,

Joash spoke to the priests. He said, “Collect all the money the people bring as sacred offerings to the Lord’s temple. That includes the money collected when the men who are able to serve in the army are counted. It includes the money received from people who make a special promise to the Lord. It also includes the money people bring to the temple just because they want to.

Joash said to the priests, “Collect all the money that is brought as sacred offerings to the temple of the Lord—the money collected in the census, the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily to the temple.

وَقَالَ يَهُوآشُ لِلْكَهَنَةِ: «اجْمَعُوا الْفِضَّةَ الْمُخَصَّصَةَ لِلتَّقْدِمَاتِ فِي هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ، وَالْفِضَّةَ الَّتِي جُبِيَتْ مِنَ الإِحْصَاءِ، وَفِضَّةَ النُّذُورِ، وَالْفِضَّةَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ بِصُورَةٍ طَوْعِيَّةٍ لِهَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ.

Joash sa till prästerna: ”Ta alla pengar som bärs fram till Herrens hus, vare sig det är heliga gåvor, skatten från folkräkningen, från alla personliga löften eller frivilliga gåvor[a] till Herrens hus.”
