2 Chronicles 35:3

To the Levites who taught all Israel and were holy to the Lord he said, “Put the holy ark in the house (temple) which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built; it shall not be a burden [carried] on your shoulders any longer. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the Lord, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the Lord your God, and his people Israel,

The Levites taught all the people of Israel. The Levites had been set apart to the Lord. Josiah said to them, “Put the sacred ark of the covenant in the temple Solomon built. He was the son of David and king of Israel. The ark must not be carried around on your shoulders. Serve the Lord your God. Serve his people Israel.

He said to the Levites, who instructed all Israel and who had been consecrated to the Lord: “Put the sacred ark in the temple that Solomon son of David king of Israel built. It is not to be carried about on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel.

وَقَالَ لِلّاوِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ إِسْرَائِيلَ مِمَّنْ تَقَدَّسُوا لِلرَّبِّ: «ضَعُوا تَابُوتَ الْقُدْسِ فِي الْهَيْكَلِ الَّذِي بَنَاهُ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ مَلِكُ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَكُفُّوا عَنْ حَمْلِهِ عَلَى الأَكْتَافِ، وَاعْمَلُوا عَلَى خِدْمَةِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَخِدْمَةِ شَعْبِهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Til levitterne, som skulle undervise Israels folk og var indviet til at tjene Herren, sagde han: „Da pagtens ark nu står i det tempel, Salomon fik bygget, og da I derfor ikke længere skal bruge tid og kræfter på at bære rundt på den, skal I i stedet bruge jeres tid på at tjene Herren og hans folk, Israel.

Darum könnt ihr euch hier im Tempel mit ganzer Kraft dem Dienst für den Herrn, euren Gott, und für sein Volk Israel widmen!

Servez l’Eternel votre Dieu et son peuple Israël.

Han sa till leviterna, som undervisade israeliterna och som var helgade åt Herren: ”Ställ den heliga arken i templet som Israels kung Salomo, Davids son, byggde. Ni behöver inte bära den på era axlar. Tjäna Herren, er Gud, och hans folk Israel!

又對將自己獻給耶和華、負責教導以色列人的利未人說：「你們把聖約櫃放在以色列王大衛的兒子所羅門建的殿裡，不用再扛在肩上。現在你們去事奉你們的上帝耶和華和祂的以色列子民吧。
