Now he made the room of the Holy of Holies: its length equaling the width of the house was twenty cubits, and its width was twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with 600 talents of fine gold.

And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

He built the Most Holy Room. It was as long as the temple was wide. It was 30 feet long and 30 feet wide. He covered the inside of the Most Holy Room with 23 tons of fine gold.

He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents[e] of fine gold.

وَشَيَّدَ مِحْرَابَ قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ فَكَانَ طُولُهُ مُسَاوِياً لِعَرْضِ الْهَيْكَلِ، فَكَانَ مُرَبَّعَ الشَّكْلِ، طُولُهُ يُعَادِلُ عَرْضَهُ، عِشْرُونَ ذِرَاعاً فِي عِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعاً (أَيْ نَحْوُ عَشَرَةِ أَمْتَارٍ فِي عَشَرَةِ أَمْتَارٍ)، وَغَشَّاهُ بِسِتِّ مِئَةِ وَزْنَةٍ (نَحْوَ وَاحِدٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفاً وَسِتِّ مِئَةِ كِيلُو جِرَامٍ) مِنَ الذَّهَبِ النَّقِيِّ.
