2 Chronicles 29:10

Now it is in my heart to make a covenant (solemn agreement) with the Lord God of Israel, so that His burning anger will turn away from us.

لِذَلِكَ قَرَّرْتُ أَنْ أَقْطَعَ عَهْداً مَعَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَيَرُدُّ عَنَّا لَهِيبَ غَضَبِهِ.

Men nu vil jeg genoprette vores pagt med Herren, Israels Gud, for at han ikke længere skal være vred på os.
