2 Chronicles 24:6

So the king called for Jehoiada the high priest and said to him, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax for the tent of the testimony which was authorized by Moses, the servant of the Lord and the servant of the assembly of Israel?”

And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the Lord, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?

So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest and said to him, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and from Jerusalem the levy fixed by Moses the servant of the Lord on the congregation of Israel for the tent of the testimony?”

So the king sent for Jehoiada the chief priest. He said to him, “Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring in the tax from Judah and Jerusalem? It was set up by the Lord’s servant Moses and the whole community of Israel. It was used for the tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept.”

Therefore the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest and said to him, “Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of the Lord and by the assembly of Israel for the tent of the covenant law?”

So the king called for Jehoiada the high priest and asked him, “Why haven’t you demanded that the Levites go out and collect the Temple taxes from the towns of Judah and from Jerusalem? Moses, the servant of the Lord, levied this tax on the community of Israel in order to maintain the Tabernacle of the Covenant.[a]”

فَاسْتَدْعَى الْمَلِكُ يَهُويَادَاعَ رَئِيسَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَسَأَلَهُ: «لِمَاذَا لَمْ تَطْلُبْ مِنَ اللّاوِيِّينَ أَنْ يَجْمَعُوا مِنْ بَنِي يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ الضَّرِيبَةَ الَّتِي فَرَضَهَا مُوسَى عَبْدُ الرَّبِّ وَجَمَاعَةُ إِسْرَائِيلَ لِصِيَانَةِ خَيْمَةِ الشَّهَادَةِ؟».

Då kallade kungen till sig översteprästen Jojada och frågade honom: ”Varför har du inte sett till att leviterna drivit in skatten från Juda och Jerusalem, som Herrens tjänare Mose och Israels församling bestämt för förbundstecknets tält?”

王就召来耶何耶大大祭司，问他：“你为什么不吩咐利未人到耶路撒冷和犹大去收税呢？这税是耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列的会众定的，以备圣幕之用。”
