2 Chronicles 13:5

Do you not know that the Lord God of Israel, gave rule over Israel forever to David and to his sons by a covenant of [a]salt [a permanent pact, extending to each generation of Israel]?

Ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

Do you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the rule over Israel forever to David [a]and his sons by a covenant of salt?

The Lord is the God of Israel. Don’t you know that he has placed David and his sons after him on Israel’s throne forever? The Lord made a covenant of salt with David. The salt means the covenant will last for all time to come.

Don’t you know that the Lord, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants forever by a covenant of salt?

Don’t you know that the Lord, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants for ever by a covenant of salt?

Don’t you realize that the Lord, the God of Israel, made a lasting covenant[b] with David, giving him and his descendants the throne of Israel forever?

أَلَمْ تُدْرِكُوا بَعْدُ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ عَهِدَ بِالْمُلْكِ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى دَاوُدَ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ بِعَهْدِ مِلْحٍ،

„Hør på mig, Jeroboam og Israels[a] folk! Ved I ikke, at Herren, Israels Gud, etablerede en ubrydelig pagt med David og gav ham det løfte, at hans slægt skulle regere over Israel for evigt?

Habt ihr vergessen, dass der Herr, der Gott Israels, mit David einen ewigen Bund[b] geschlossen hat? Er hat ihm und seinen Nachkommen für alle Zeiten die Herrschaft über Israel gegeben.

¿No sabéis que el Señor, Dios de Israel, concedió para siempre el reino de Israel a David y a sus descendientes mediante un pacto inalterable?[a]

Ne devriez-vous pas reconnaître que l’Eternel, le Dieu d’Israël, a donné pour toujours la royauté sur Israël à David et à ses descendants en vertu d’une alliance irrévocable[c] ?

Wala bala kamo kahibalo nga ang Ginoo, ang Dios sang Israel, naghimo sang wala sing katapusan nga kasugtanan kay David nga siya kag ang iya mga kaliwat amo ang maghari sa Israel hasta san-o?

이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이스라엘의 왕권을 다윗왕과 그 후손에게 영원히 주셨다는 것을 너희는 모르느냐?

‘Luister! Beseft u niet dat de Here, de God van Israël, heeft beloofd dat Davids nakomelingen voor altijd koningen van Israël zouden zijn?

Vocês não sabem que o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, deu para sempre o reino de Israel a Davi e a seus descendentes mediante uma aliança irrevogável[c]?

Não se lembram que o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, jurou a David que os descendentes de David seriam sempre reis em Israel, mediante uma aliança de sal?

Nu ştiţi voi oare că Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, i-a dat pe vecie lui David şi urmaşilor lui dreptul de domnie peste Israel printr-un legământ de sare[b]?

Разве вам неизвестно, что Господь, Бог Израиля, дал царскую власть над Израилем Давиду и его потомкам навек по завету соли?13:5 На Востоке съеденная вместе с кем-либо соль служила символом нерасторжимости договора между людьми. Кроме того, соль говорила о долговечности договора, так как она сохраняет продукты, не давая им испортиться (см. Лев. 2:13; Чис. 18:19).

Vet ni inte att Herren, Israels Gud, har gett David kungamakten över Israel för evigt, åt honom och hans ättlingar, genom ett saltförbund[b]?

你們不知道以色列的上帝耶和華曾經立下永世之約[b]，要把以色列國永遠賜給大衛和他的子孫嗎？
