1 Samuel 26:7

So David and Abishai went to the army during the night, and there was Saul lying asleep inside the circle of the camp with his spear stuck in the ground by his head; and Abner and the people were lying around him.

So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.

So David and Abishai entered the encampment by night, and there he was—Saul, stretched out asleep at the center of the camp, his spear stuck in the ground near his head, with Abner and the troops sound asleep on all sides.

So that night David and Abishai went into the camp. They found Saul lying asleep inside the camp. His spear was stuck in the ground near his head. Abner and the soldiers were lying asleep around him.

فَتَسَلَّلَ دَاوُدُ وَأَبِيشَايُ لَيْلاً إِلَى مُعَسْكَرِ شَاوُلَ، وَإذَا بِشَاوُلَ رَاقِدٌ عِنْدَ الْمِتْرَاسِ وَرُمْحُهُ مَغْرُوسٌ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَى جِوَارِ رَأْسِهِ، وَأَبْنَيْرُ وَالْجُنُودُ نَائِمُونَ حَوْلَهُ.

Mitten in der Nacht machten sie sich auf den Weg. Sie schlichen an den schlafenden Soldaten und an Abner vorbei und drangen bis in den innersten Ring vor. Dort lag Saul und schlief fest. Sein Speer steckte neben seinem Kopf im Boden.

Zo gingen David en Abisaï ʼs nachts naar Sauls kamp, waar zij de koning slapend aantroffen, met zijn speer naast zijn hoofd in de grond gestoken. Abner en de soldaten lagen in een kring om hem heen.

Och så gick David och Avishaj till hären på natten, där de fann Saul sovande med spjutet nerstucket i marken nära huvudet. Avner och soldaterna låg runt omkring honom.
