ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَتْ عَشَائِرُ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِينَ، فَاخْتَارَ الرَّبُّ عَشِيرَةَ مَطْرِي، وَمِنْهَا وَقَعَ الاخْتِيَارُ عَلَى شَاوُلَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ. فَبَحَثُوا عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يَعْثُرُوا عَلَيْهِ.
