1 Kings 2:5

Now you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah [my sister] did to me, and what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner and to Amasa the son of Jether, [both of] whom he murdered; [b]avenging the blood of war in [a time of] peace. And he put the [innocent] blood of war [of Abner and Amasa] on his [c]belt that was around his [d]waist, and on his sandals on his feet.

Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.

“Now you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner, and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed; he also [e]shed the blood of war in peace. And he put the blood of war on his belt [f]about his waist, and on his sandals [g]on his feet.

“You yourself know what Joab, the son of Zeruiah, did to me. You know that he killed Abner, the son of Ner, and Amasa, the son of Jether. They were the two commanders of Israel’s armies. He killed them in a time of peace. It wasn’t a time of war. Joab spilled the blood of Abner and Amasa. With that blood he stained the belt around his waist. He also stained the sandals on his feet.

“Now you yourself know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me—what he did to the two commanders of Israel’s armies, Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether. He killed them, shedding their blood in peacetime as if in battle, and with that blood he stained the belt around his waist and the sandals on his feet.

‘Now you yourself know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me – what he did to the two commanders of Israel’s armies, Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether. He killed them, shedding their blood in peacetime as if in battle, and with that blood he stained the belt round his waist and the sandals on his feet.

“And there is something else. You know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me when he murdered my two army commanders, Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether. He pretended that it was an act of war, but it was done in a time of peace,[a] staining his belt and sandals with innocent blood.[b]

أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ مَا جَنَاهُ عَلَيَّ يُوآبُ ابْنُ صُرُوِيَّةَ حِينَ قَتَلَ قَائِدَيْ جُيُوشِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: أَبْنَيْرَ بْنَ نَيْرٍ وَعَمَاسَا بْنَ يَثْرٍ، فَسَفَكَ دَماً فِي وَقْتِ السِّلْمِ، وَكَأَنَّهُ فِي خِضَمِّ حَرْبٍ، فَلَطَّخَ بِذَلِكَ الدَّمِ حِزَامَ حَقَوَيْهِ وَنَعْلَيْ رِجْلَيْهِ.

Hør nu efter! Du ved, at Joab myrdede mine to hærførere Abner og Amasa, da han i fredstid stak dem ned uden varsel som hævn for, hvad de havde gjort i en krigssituation.

Nun habe ich noch einige Bitten an dich: Du kennst Joab, den Sohn meiner Schwester Zeruja, und du weißt auch, was er mir angetan hat. Die beiden israelitischen Heerführer Abner, den Sohn von Ner, und Amasa, den Sohn von Jeter, hat er mitten im Frieden kaltblütig ermordet. Dadurch hat er seine Kleider mit unschuldigem Blut besudelt.

»Ahora bien, tú mismo sabes que Joab hijo de Sarvia derramó sangre en tiempo de paz como si estuviera en guerra, y mató a Abner hijo de Ner y a Amasá hijo de Jéter, los dos comandantes de los ejércitos israelitas, manchándose así de sangre las manos.[a]

Du vet också vad Joav, Serujas son, gjorde mot mig och vad han gjorde mot de två överbefälhavarna för hären i Israel, Avner, Ners son, och Amasa, Jeters son.
