1 Kings 2:42

So the king sent word and called for Shimei and said to him, “Did I not make you swear by the Lord and solemnly warn you, saying, ‘Know for certain that on the day you leave [Jerusalem] and go anywhere, you shall surely die’? And you said to me, ‘The word (ruling) I have heard is good.’

And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the Lord, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The word that I have heard is good.

So the king sent and called for Shimei and said to him, “Did I not make you swear by the Lord and solemnly warn you, saying, ‘You will know for certain that on the day you depart and go anywhere, you shall surely die’? And you said to me, ‘The word which I have heard is good.’

So the king sent for Shimei. He said to him, “Didn’t I force you to make a promise in the name of the Lord? Didn’t I warn you? I said, ‘You must not leave the city and go somewhere else. If you do, you can be sure you will die.’ At that time you said to me, ‘What you say is good. I’ll obey your command.’

فَاسْتَدْعَاهُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «أَمَا اسْتَحْلَفْتُكَ بِالرَّبِّ وَأَشْهَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ أَنَّكَ يَوْمَ تُغَادِرُ الْمَدِينَةَ إِلَى أَيِّ مَكَانٍ آخَرَ حَتْماً تَمُوتُ. فَأَجَبْتَنِي: حَسَناً، وَسَمْعاً وَطَاعَةً.

Da sendte han bud efter ham og sagde: „Befalede jeg dig ikke i Guds navn at blive i Jerusalem, hvis du havde dit liv kært? Og svor du ikke på, at du ville blive i byen?

시므이를 불러 말하였다. “나는 너에게 여호와의 이름으로 맹세하게 하고 예루살렘을 떠나지 말라고 명령하였으며 이 명령을 어기는 날에는 네가 반드시 죽게 될 것이라고 경고하였다. 그때 너도 ‘좋습니다. 내가 왕의 말씀대로 하겠습니다’ 하고 대답하지 않았느냐?
