1 Kings 2:24

So now, as the Lord lives, who has established me and set me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house as He promised, Adonijah shall indeed be put to death today.”

Now therefore, as the Lord liveth, which hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day.

The Lord has made my position as king secure. I’m sitting on the throne of my father David. The Lord has built a royal house for me, just as he promised. You can be sure that the Lord lives. And you can be just as sure that Adonijah will be put to death today.”

And now, as surely as the Lord lives—he who has established me securely on the throne of my father David and has founded a dynasty for me as he promised—Adonijah shall be put to death today!”

حَيٌّ هُوَ الرَّبُّ الَّذِي ثَبَّتَنِي وَأَجْلَسَنِي عَلَى عَرْشِ دَاوُدَ أَبِي وَأَعْطَانِي مُلْكاً كَمَا وَعَدَ. الْيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ أَدُونِيَّا».

Denn Gott hat mich zum Nachfolger meines Vaters David gemacht, er hat mich als König bestätigt und mir und meinen Nachkommen die Königsherrschaft anvertraut, wie er es versprochen hat. Ich schwöre bei dem Herrn, dem lebendigen Gott: Noch heute muss Adonija sterben!«

약속하신 대로 내 아버지의 왕위와 이 나라를 나에게 주신 살아 계신 여호와의 이름으로 내가 맹세하지만 아도니야는 오늘 분명히 죽음을 당할 것이다.”

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงสถาปนาเราไว้บนบัลลังก์ของเสด็จพ่อดาวิด และทรงตั้งราชวงศ์ขึ้นเพื่อเราตามที่ทรงสัญญาไว้ ดังนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงพระชนม์อยู่แน่ฉันใด อาโดนียาห์จะต้องตายในวันนี้ฉันนั้น!”

耶和華讓我穩穩地坐在父親大衛的寶座上，照祂的應許為我建立了王朝，我憑永活的耶和華起誓，亞多尼雅今天必被處死。」
