1 Corinthians 3:7

So neither is the one who plants nor the one who waters anything, but [only] God who causes the growth.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

فَلَيْسَ الْغَارِسُ شَيْئاً وَلا السَّاقِي، بَلِ اللهُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي النُّمُوَّ.

Altså afhænger det mere af Gud, som får det til at gro, end af hvem, der planter og vander.
