1 Chronicles 9:19

Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives of his father’s house, the Korahites, were in charge of the work of the service, doorkeepers of the Tent; and their fathers had been in charge of the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance.

And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the Lord, were keepers of the entry.

Shallum the son of Kore, the son of [h]Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent; and their fathers had been over the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance.

Shallum was the son of Kore. Kore was the son of Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph was the son of Korah. Shallum and the other Levites in his family belonged to the family line of Korah. They had the duty of guarding the entrances to the tent. From long ago, their people had the duty of guarding the entrance to the house of the Lord.

Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord.

وَكَانَ شَلُّومُ بْنُ قُورِي بْنِ أَبِيأَسَافَ بْنِ قُورَحَ وَأَقْرِبَاؤُهُ حُرَّاسُ الأَبْوَابِ مِنْ عَشِيرَةِ الْقُورَحِيِّينَ مَسْؤولِينَ عَنْ حِرَاسَةِ مَدْخَلِ الْخَيْمَةِ كَمَا كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ مَسْؤولِينَ عَنْ حِرَاسَةِ الْمُعَسْكَرِ.
