1 Chronicles 5:2

Though Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came [David] the leader [and eventually the Messiah], yet the birthright was Joseph’s—

For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)

Judah also did not have the rights of the oldest son. Judah didn’t have them even though he was the leader among his brothers. And a ruler came from his family line. But the rights of the oldest son belonged to Joseph.

The descendants of Judah became the most powerful tribe and provided a ruler for the nation,[b] but the birthright belonged to Joseph.

وَمَعَ أَنَّ يَهُوذَا كَانَ الأَقْوَى بَيْنَ إِخْوَتِهِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ تَحَدَّرَ الْمُلُوكُ الَّذِينَ حَكَمُوا، فَإِنَّ الْبَكُورِيَّةَ ظَلَّتْ مِنْ نَصِيبِ يُوسُفَ.

Og selv om Judas stamme blev den største, og kong David kom fra den stamme, så var det Josef, der fik den dobbelte arvelod, som den førstefødte ellers skulle have haft).

Juda war der wichtigste Sohn von Israel, denn von ihm stammten die Könige ab. Doch das Erstgeburtsrecht kam Josef zu.

요셉이 비록 장자권을 얻긴 했으나 유다는 이스라엘에서 강력하고 영향력 있는 지파였기 때문에 다스리는 자가 유다 지파에서 나오게 된 것이다.
