Matthew 9

Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town.

Иса вошёл в лодку, переправился на другую сторону озера и вернулся в город, где Он жил.

Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Несколько человек принесли к Нему парализованного, лежащего на постели. Когда Иса увидел их веру, Он сказал парализованному:

– Не бойся, сын Мой, прощаются тебе твои грехи!

At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”

Тогда некоторые из учителей Таурата подумали про себя: «Он кощунствует!»

Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?

Зная, о чём они думают, Иса сказал:

– Почему у вас в сердце такие злые мысли?

Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?

Вы, наверное, думаете, что сказать «Прощаются тебе грехи» намного легче, чем сказать «Встань и ходи»?

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”

Но чтобы вы знали, что Ниспосланный как Человек имеет власть на земле прощать грехи…

И Он обратился к парализованному:

– Вставай, возьми свою постель и иди домой.

Then the man got up and went home.

Человек встал и пошёл домой.

When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.

The Calling of Matthew

Видевшие это исполнились благоговейного ужаса и стали славить Аллаха, давшего человеку такую власть.

Обед в доме у Матая

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

Когда Иса шёл оттуда, Он увидел человека по имени Матай, сидевшего на месте сбора таможенных пошлин.

– Следуй за Мной, – сказал ему Иса.

Тот встал и пошёл за Ним.

While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.

Позже, когда Иса возлежал за столом в доме у Матая, там собралось много сборщиков налогов и прочих грешников. Они возлегли с Исой и Его учениками.

When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Когда блюстители Закона увидели это, они спросили учеников Исы:

– Почему ваш Учитель ест со сборщиками налогов и грешниками?

On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

Когда Иса услышал это, Он сказал:

– Не здоровым нужен врач, а больным.

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’^[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Jesus Questioned About Fasting

Попытайтесь вначале понять, что значат слова: «Милости хочу, а не жертвы»^[a]. Я пришёл призвать не праведников, а грешников.

Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?”

Затем пришли ученики Яхии и спросили:

– Почему мы и блюстители Закона постимся, а Твои ученики – нет?

Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

Иса ответил им так:

– Разве могут гости на свадьбе печалиться, когда с ними жених? Но наступит время, когда жених будет взят от них, вот тогда они и будут поститься.^[b]

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.

Никто не пришивает к старой одежде заплату из новой ткани: она, когда сядет, разорвёт дыру ещё больше.

Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman

Никто не наливает молодое вино в старые бурдюки, иначе бурдюки прорвутся: и вино вытечет, и бурдюки пропадут. Нет, молодое вино наливают в новые бурдюки, тогда и то и другое будет цело.

Господство Исы Масиха над болезнью и смертью

While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.”

Когда Иса ещё говорил, к Нему подошёл один начальник. Он поклонился Исе и сказал:

– Моя дочь только что умерла, но если Ты придёшь и возложишь на неё руку, она оживёт.

Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples.

Иса встал и пошёл с ним. Ученики тоже пошли за ними.

Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

В это время к Исе сзади подошла женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая кровотечением, и прикоснулась к кисточке на краю Его одежды^[c].

She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

Она думала про себя: «Если я только прикоснусь к Его одежде, то исцелюсь».

Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Иса обернулся и увидел её.

– Не бойся, дочь Моя, – сказал Он, – твоя вера исцелила тебя.

И женщина в тот же момент выздоровела.

When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,

Когда Иса вошёл в дом начальника и увидел свирельщиков, приглашённых для похорон, и смятение толпы,

he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.

Он сказал:

– Выйдите, ведь девочка не умерла, а спит.

Но они лишь посмеялись над Ним.

After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

Когда людей всё-таки удалили, Иса вошёл, взял девочку за руку, и она встала.

News of this spread through all that region.

Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute

Слух об этом распространился по всей округе.

Исцеление двух слепых и немого

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

Когда Иса вышел оттуда, за Ним пошли двое слепых, крича:

– Сжалься над нами, Сын Давуда^[d]!

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

“Yes, Lord,” they replied.

Когда Он вошёл в дом, слепые подошли к Нему, и Он спросил их:

– Вы верите, что Я могу это сделать?

– Да, Повелитель, – ответили те.

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

Тогда Иса прикоснулся к их глазам и сказал:

– Пусть же с вами будет по вашей вере.

and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”

И они тотчас прозрели. Иса же строго наказал им:

– Смотрите, чтобы никто не узнал об этом.

But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

Но они пошли и рассказали о Нём по всей округе.

While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.

Не успели ещё они выйти, как к Исе привели немого человека, одержимого демоном.

And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Когда демон был изгнан, человек, который был нем, заговорил. Люди удивлялись:

– Ничего подобного ещё не бывало в Исраиле.

But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”

The Workers Are Few

Блюстители же Закона говорили:

– Он изгоняет демонов силой повелителя демонов.

Жатвы много, а работников мало

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

Иса ходил по всем городам и селениям, учил в молитвенных домах, возвещал Радостную Весть о Царстве и исцелял людей от всех болезней и немощей.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Увидев толпы народа, Он сжалился над ними, потому что эти люди были измучены и беспомощны, как овцы без пастуха.^[e]

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Он говорил Своим ученикам:

– Жатвы много, а работников мало.

Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Поэтому просите Хозяина жатвы, чтобы Он выслал работников на Свою жатву.
