Matthew 26

When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,

“As you know, the Passover is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,

А во дворце верховного священнослужителя Каиафы^[b] в это время собрались главные священнослужители и старейшины народа.

and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.

Они решили хитростью схватить Ису и убить.

“But not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

– Только не во время праздника, – говорили они, – иначе народ может взбунтоваться.

Помазание Исы Масиха дорогим ароматическим маслом

While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper,

Иса находился в Вифании, в доме Шимона прокажённого^[c].

a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

И когда Он возлежал за столом, к Нему подошла женщина с алебастровым кувшином, в котором было очень дорогое ароматическое масло, и возлила это масло Ему на голову.

When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked.

Увидев это, ученики рассердились:

– Зачем такая трата?

“This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

Ведь это ароматическое масло можно было продать за большую сумму, а деньги раздать нищим.

Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

Но Иса, зная, что они говорят, сказал им:

– Что вы упрекаете женщину? Ведь она сделала для Меня доброе дело.

The poor you will always have with you,^[a] but you will not always have me.

Потому что нищие всегда с вами, а Я не всегда буду с вами.

When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

Вылив на Меня это масло, она тем самым приготовила Меня к погребению.

Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

Говорю вам истину: во всём мире, везде, где будет возвещена эта Радостная Весть, будут вспоминать об этой женщине и о том, что она сделала.

Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests

Затем Иуда Искариот, один из двенадцати учеников, пошёл к священнослужителям

and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.

From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

The Last Supper

И с того момента Иуда стал искать удобного случая, чтобы предать Ису.

Приготовление учеников к празднику Освобождения

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”

В первый день праздника Пресных хлебов^[e] ученики спросили Ису:

– Где нам приготовить Тебе праздничный ужин?

He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’”

Иса ответил:

– Идите в город к такому-то и скажите ему: «Учитель говорит, что Его время уже подошло, и Он хочет в твоём доме отметить праздник Освобождения со Своими учениками».

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Ученики сделали всё, как им велел Иса, и приготовили праздничный ужин.

Последний ужин с учениками

When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve.

Вечером Иса со Своими двенадцатью учениками возлёг у стола.

And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”

Когда они ели, Иса сказал:

– Говорю вам истину: один из вас предаст Меня.

They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely you don’t mean me, Lord?”

Ученики сильно опечалились и один за другим стали спрашивать Его:

– Но ведь это не я, Повелитель?

Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.

А Иса сказал:

– Меня предаст тот, кто опустил руку в блюдо вместе со Мной.

The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

Да, Ниспосланный как Человек уходит так, как о Нём сказано в Писании, но горе тому человеку, который предаёт Его! Лучше бы ему вообще не родиться.

Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”

Jesus answered, “You have said so.”

Тогда Иуда, предатель, тоже спросил:

– Но ведь это не я, Учитель?

– Это ты так говоришь, – ответил Иса.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

Когда они ели, Иса взял хлеб и, благословив, разломил его, дал Своим ученикам и сказал:

– Возьмите и ешьте, это Моё тело.

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

Затем Он взял чашу, поблагодарил за неё Аллаха и подал им со словами:

– Пейте из неё все.

This is my blood of the^[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Это Моя кровь священного соглашения,^[f] проливаемая за многих людей для прощения грехов.

I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Говорю вам, что Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до того дня, когда Я буду пить с вами новое^[g] вино в Царстве Моего Отца.

Предсказание об отречении Петира

When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial

Они спели песни из Забура^[h] и пошли на Оливковую гору.

Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:

Тогда Иса сказал им:

– В эту ночь вы все отступитесь от Меня, ведь написано:

But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

Но когда Я воскресну, то пойду в Галилею и буду ждать вас там.

Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

Петир ответил:

– Даже если все Тебя оставят, я этого никогда не сделаю.

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”

– Говорю тебе истину, – сказал ему Иса, – в эту ночь, прежде чем пропоёт петух, ты трижды отречёшься от Меня.

But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

Gethsemane

Но Петир уверял:

– Даже если мне придётся умереть с Тобой, я никогда не откажусь от Тебя.

То же самое говорили и все ученики.

Молитва в Гефсиманском саду

Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”

Иса пришёл с ними на место, называемое Гефсимания, и сказал ученикам:

– Посидите здесь, а Я пойду и помолюсь.

He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.

Он взял с Собой Петира и двух сыновей Завдая. Его охватили тоска и тревога.

Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

Тогда Он сказал им:

– Душа Моя объята смертельной печалью. Побудьте здесь и бодрствуйте со Мной.

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Отойдя немного, Он пал на лицо Своё и молился:

– Отец Мой, если возможно, то пусть минует Меня эта чаша страданий, но да будет всё не как Я хочу, а как Ты хочешь.

Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.

Затем Он возвратился к ученикам и нашёл их спящими.

– Неужели вы даже часу не могли пободрствовать вместе со Мной? – спросил Он Петира. –

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Бодрствуйте и молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. Дух бодр, но тело слабо.

He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”

И во второй раз Он снова ушёл и молился:

– Отец Мой, если невозможно, чтобы эта чаша страданий миновала Меня и чтобы Мне не пить из неё, то пусть всё будет по Твоей воле.

When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.

Когда Он вернулся, ученики опять спали, потому что их веки отяжелели.

So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.

И оставив их, Иса отошёл и стал молиться в третий раз теми же словами.

Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.

Затем Иса возвратился к ученикам и сказал им:

– Вы всё спите и отдыхаете? Вот, время настало, и Ниспосланный как Человек предаётся в руки грешников.

Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

Jesus Arrested

Вставайте, идём. Вот уже и Мой предатель приблизился.

Иса Масих предан и арестован

While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people.

Он ещё говорил, как подошёл Иуда, один из двенадцати учеников, и с ним большая толпа, вооружённая мечами и кольями. Их послали главные священнослужители и старейшины народа.

Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.”

Предатель так условился с ними:

– Хватайте Того, Кого я поцелую.

Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.

Иуда сразу же подошёл к Исе и сказал:

– Здравствуй, Учитель! – и поцеловал Его.

Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”^[d]

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.

Иса же сказал ему:

– Друг, делай то, для чего пришёл.

Тут подошли люди и, схватив Ису, взяли Его под стражу.

With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

Тогда один из тех, кто был с Исой, вытащил меч, ударил раба главного священнослужителя и отсёк ему ухо.

“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

– Верни свой меч на место, – сказал ему Иса. – Все, кто берётся за меч, от меча и погибнут.

Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

Неужели ты думаешь, что Я не мог бы упросить Моего Отца немедленно прислать Мне более двенадцати ангельских воинств^[j]?

But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”

Но как же тогда исполнится Писание, что всё это должно произойти?

In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me.

Затем Иса обратился к толпе:

– Что Я, разбойник, что вы пришли с мечами и кольями, чтобы арестовать Меня? Каждый день Я сидел и учил в храме, и вы не арестовывали Меня.

But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.

Jesus Before the Sanhedrin

Но всё произошло именно так, чтобы исполнились писания пророков.

Тогда все ученики оставили Его и убежали.

На допросе у верховного священнослужителя Каиафы

Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.

Арестовавшие Ису привели Его к верховному священнослужителю Каиафе, у которого уже собрались учители Таурата и старейшины.

But Peter followed him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. He entered and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.

Петир следовал за Исой на некотором расстоянии до двора верховного священнослужителя. Войдя внутрь, он сел со стражниками, чтобы увидеть, чем всё кончится.

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.

Главные священнослужители и весь Высший Совет^[k] искали ложных показаний против Исы, чтобы приговорить Его к смерти.

But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward.

Finally two came forward

Но они ничего не могли найти, хотя и пришло много лжесвидетелей. Наконец вышли два человека

and declared, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

и заявили:

– Этот Человек говорил: «Я могу разрушить храм Аллаха и восстановить его за три дня».

Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?”

Тогда верховный священнослужитель встал и спросил Ису:

– Тебе нечего ответить на эти свидетельства против Тебя?

But Jesus remained silent.

The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

Иса молчал. Верховный священнослужитель сказал Ему:

– Я заклинаю Тебя живым Богом, если Ты обещанный Масих – Сын Всевышнего, то скажи нам.

“You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^[e]

– Ты сам так сказал, – ответил Иса, – но говорю вам, что отныне вы увидите «Ниспосланного как Человек сидящим по правую руку от могучего Бога и идущим на облаках небесных»^[l]!

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.

Тогда верховный священнослужитель в негодовании разорвал на себе одежду и сказал:

– Он кощунствует! Какие нам ещё нужны свидетели?! Вы теперь сами слышали Его кощунство!

What do you think?”

“He is worthy of death,” they answered.

Каково ваше решение?

Они ответили:

– Он виновен и заслуживает смерти.

Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him

Тогда Исе стали плевать в лицо и бить Его кулаками, некоторые же били Его по щекам и

and said, “Prophesy to us, Messiah. Who hit you?”

Peter Disowns Jesus

спрашивали:

– Эй Ты, Масих! Если Ты пророк, то скажи нам, кто Тебя ударил?

Отречение Петира

Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. “You also were with Jesus of Galilee,” she said.

Петир же сидел снаружи, во дворе, когда к нему подошла служанка.

– Ты тоже был с Исой Галилеянином, – сказала она.

But he denied it before them all. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.

Но Петир отрицал перед всеми:

– Я не знаю, о чём ты говоришь.

Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth.”

Когда он отошёл к воротам, его увидела другая служанка. Она сказала стоявшим рядом:

– Этот человек был с Исой Назарянином.

He denied it again, with an oath: “I don’t know the man!”

Петир снова всё отрицал, поклявшись, что он не знает Этого Человека.

After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.”

Но спустя немного времени стоявшие там люди подошли и сказали ему:

– Точно, ты тоже один из них, тебя и говор твой выдаёт.

Then he began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know the man!”

Immediately a rooster crowed.

Тогда Петир начал клясться, призывая на себя проклятия:

– Я не знаю Этого Человека!

И тотчас пропел петух.

Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

И тогда Петир вспомнил слова Исы: «Прежде чем пропоёт петух, ты трижды отречёшься от Меня».

И выйдя наружу, он горько заплакал.
