Zechariah 6

I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze.

Я вновь поднял глаза и вижу: передо мной четыре колесницы, выезжающие из ущелья между двумя медными горами.

The first chariot had red horses, the second black,

Первую колесницу тащили рыжие кони, вторую – вороные,

the third white, and the fourth dappled—all of them powerful.

третью – белые, а четвёртую – пегие; все они – кони сильные.

I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?”

Я спросил Ангела, Который говорил со мной:

– Что это значит, мой Господин?

The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits^[a] of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.

Ангел ответил мне:

– Это четыре небесных духа^[a], которые выходят от Владыки всей земли.

The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west,^[b] and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”

Тот, у которого вороные кони, направляется в северный край, тот, у которого белые кони, – на запад^[b], а тот, у которого пегие, – на юг.

When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.

Сильные кони вышли, и им не терпелось пройти по земле дозором.

Тогда Он сказал:

– Ступайте, пройдите по земле дозором!

И они пошли.

Then he called to me, “Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit^[c] rest in the land of the north.”

A Crown for Joshua

А Он воскликнул:

– Смотри, те, кто отправился в северный край, погасили Мой гнев на северную страну.

Венец для Иешуа

The word of the Lord came to me:

Было ко мне слово Вечного:

“Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.

– Собери серебро и золото у Хелдая, Тобии и Иедаи, которые пришли из Вавилонского плена, и ступай в тот же день в дом Иосии, сына Софонии.

Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jozadak.^[d]

Возьми серебро и золото, сделай венец и возложи его на голову главного священнослужителя Иешуа, сына Иехоцадака.

Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord.

Передай ему слова Вечного, Повелителя Сил: «Вот человек по имени Ветвь^[c]: Он прорастёт из Своего места и построит храм Вечного.

It is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he^[e] will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.’

Это Он построит храм Вечного, это Он облачится в великолепие, и воссядет, и будет править со Своего престола. Он также станет священнослужителем на престоле, и одно не будет противоречить другому.^[d]

The crown will be given to Heldai,^[f] Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen^[g] son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.

А венец будет вверен заботам Хелдая^[e], Тобии, Иедаи и Иосии^[f], сына Софонии, как памятный знак в храме Вечного.

Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.”

Те, кто издалека придут, будут помогать строить храм Вечного, и вы узнаете, что Вечный, Повелитель Сил, послал Меня к вам. Это всё случится, если вы будете во всём слушаться Вечного, вашего Бога».
