Psalm 95

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Воспойте Вечному новую песню,
    пойте Вечному, все жители земли.

Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.

Воспойте Вечному, восхваляйте Его имя,
    говорите о Его спасении каждый день.

For the Lord is the great God,
    the great King above all gods.

Возвещайте славу Его среди народов,
    чудеса Его – среди всех людей,

In his hand are the depths of the earth,
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.

потому что велик Вечный и достоин всякой хвалы;
    Он внушает страх более всех богов.

The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.

Все боги народов – лишь идолы,
    а Вечный – небеса сотворил.

Come, let us bow down in worship,
    let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

Слава и величие перед Ним,
    сила и великолепие в Его святилище.

for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    the flock under his care.

Воздайте Вечному, все народы,
    воздайте Ему славу и силу.

“Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,^[a]
    as you did that day at Massah^[b] in the wilderness,

Воздайте славу имени Вечного,
    несите дары и идите во дворы Его.

where your ancestors tested me;
    they tried me, though they had seen what I did.

Прославьте Вечного в великолепии Его святости^[a].
    Трепещи перед Ним, вся земля!

For forty years I was angry with that generation;
    I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,
    and they have not known my ways.’

Скажите народам: «Вечный правит!»
    Вселенная тверда и не поколеблется;
    Он будет судить народы справедливо.

So I declared on oath in my anger,
    ‘They shall never enter my rest.’”
