Verse 1

After the plague the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest,

Verse 2

“Take a census of the whole Israelite community by families—all those twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army of Israel.”

– Сделайте перепись всего народа Исраила, годных к военной службе, от двадцати лет и старше, по семьям их отцов.

Verse 3

So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said,

На равнинах Моава у реки Иордана, напротив города Иерихона, Муса и священнослужитель Элеазар говорили с ними и сказали:

Verse 4

“Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses.”

These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:

– Сделайте перепись исраильтян от двадцати лет и старше, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

Вот исраильтяне, которые вышли из Египта:

Verse 5

The descendants of Reuben, the firstborn son of Israel, were:

through Hanok, the Hanokite clan;

through Pallu, the Palluite clan;

Потомки Рувима, первенца Исраила:

через Ханоха – клан ханохитов;

через Фаллу – клан фаллуитов;

Verse 6

through Hezron, the Hezronite clan;

through Karmi, the Karmite clan.

через Хецрона – клан хецронитов;

через Харми – клан хармитов.

Verse 7

These were the clans of Reuben; those numbered were 43,730.

Это кланы Рувима; исчислено было 43 730 человек.

Verse 8

The son of Pallu was Eliab,

Сыном Фаллу был Элиав,

Verse 9

and the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. The same Dathan and Abiram were the community officials who rebelled against Moses and Aaron and were among Korah’s followers when they rebelled against the Lord.

а сыновьями Элиава – Немуил, Датан и Авирам. Датан и Авирам были знатными людьми. Они восстали против Мусы и Харуна и оказались среди сообщников Кораха, когда те восстали против Вечного.

Verse 10

The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire devoured the 250 men. And they served as a warning sign.

Земля разверзлась и поглотила их вместе с Корахом, сообщники которого погибли, когда огонь сжёг двести пятьдесят человек. Они стали предостережением.

Verse 11

The line of Korah, however, did not die out.

Но сыновья Кораха не погибли в тот день.

Verse 12

The descendants of Simeon by their clans were:

through Nemuel, the Nemuelite clan;

through Jamin, the Jaminite clan;

through Jakin, the Jakinite clan;

Потомки Шимона по их кланам:

через Немуила – клан немуилитов;

через Иамина – клан иаминитов;

через Иахина – клан иахинитов;

Verse 13

through Zerah, the Zerahite clan;

through Shaul, the Shaulite clan.

через Зераха – клан зерахитов;

через Шаула – клан шаулитов.

Verse 14

These were the clans of Simeon; those numbered were 22,200.

Это кланы Шимона; 22 200 человек.

Verse 15

The descendants of Gad by their clans were:

through Zephon, the Zephonite clan;

through Haggi, the Haggite clan;

through Shuni, the Shunite clan;

Потомки Гада по их кланам:

через Цефона – клан цефонитов;

через Хагги – клан хаггитов;

через Шуни – клан шунитов;

Verse 16

through Ozni, the Oznite clan;

through Eri, the Erite clan;

через Озни – клан ознитов;

через Ери – клан еритов;

Verse 17

through Arodi,^[a] the Arodite clan;

through Areli, the Arelite clan.

через Ароди – клан ародитов;

через Арели – клан арелитов.

Verse 18

These were the clans of Gad; those numbered were 40,500.

Это кланы Гада; исчислено было 40 500 человек.

Verse 19

Er and Onan were sons of Judah, but they died in Canaan.

Сыновьями Иуды были Ир и Онан. Они умерли в Ханаане.

Verse 20

The descendants of Judah by their clans were:

through Shelah, the Shelanite clan;

through Perez, the Perezite clan;

through Zerah, the Zerahite clan.

Потомки Иуды по их кланам:

через Шелу – клан шеланитов;

через Фареца – клан фарецитов;

через Зераха – клан зерахитов;

Verse 21

The descendants of Perez were:

through Hezron, the Hezronite clan;

through Hamul, the Hamulite clan.

Потомки Фареца:

через Хецрона – клан хецронитов;

через Хамула – клан хамулитов;

Verse 22

These were the clans of Judah; those numbered were 76,500.

Это кланы Иуды; исчислено было 76 500 человек.

Verse 23

The descendants of Issachar by their clans were:

through Tola, the Tolaite clan;

through Puah, the Puite^[b] clan;

Потомки Иссахара по их кланам:

через Толу – клан толаитов;

через Пуа – клан пуанитов;

Verse 24

through Jashub, the Jashubite clan;

through Shimron, the Shimronite clan.

через Иашува – клан иашувитов;

через Шимрона – клан шимронитов.

Verse 25

These were the clans of Issachar; those numbered were 64,300.

Это кланы Иссахара; исчислено было 64 300 человек.

Verse 26

The descendants of Zebulun by their clans were:

through Sered, the Seredite clan;

through Elon, the Elonite clan;

through Jahleel, the Jahleelite clan.

Потомки Завулона по их кланам:

через Середа – клан середитов;

через Елона – клан елонитов;

через Иахлеила – клан иахлеилитов.

Verse 27

These were the clans of Zebulun; those numbered were 60,500.

Это кланы Завулона; исчислено было 60 500 человек.

Verse 28

The descendants of Joseph by their clans through Manasseh and Ephraim were:

Потомки Юсуфа по их кланам через Манассу и Ефраима:

Verse 29

The descendants of Manasseh:

through Makir, the Makirite clan (Makir was the father of Gilead);

through Gilead, the Gileadite clan.

Потомки Манассы:

через Махира – клан махиритов (Махир был отцом Галаада);

через Галаада – клан галаадитов.

Verse 30

These were the descendants of Gilead:

through Iezer, the Iezerite clan;

through Helek, the Helekite clan;

Вот потомки Галаада:

Verse 31

through Asriel, the Asrielite clan;

through Shechem, the Shechemite clan;

через Асриила – клан асриилитов;

через Шехема – клан шехемитов,

Verse 32

through Shemida, the Shemidaite clan;

through Hepher, the Hepherite clan.

Verse 33

(Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons; he had only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah and Tirzah.)

(У Целофхада, сына Хефера, не было сыновей; у него были только дочери; их звали Махла, Ноа, Хогла, Милка и Тирца.)

Verse 34

These were the clans of Manasseh; those numbered were 52,700.

Это кланы Манассы; исчислено было 52 700 человек.

Verse 35

These were the descendants of Ephraim by their clans:

through Shuthelah, the Shuthelahite clan;

through Beker, the Bekerite clan;

through Tahan, the Tahanite clan.

Вот потомки Ефраима по их кланам:

через Шутелаха – клан шутелахитов;

через Бехера – клан бехеритов;

через Тахана – клан таханитов.

Verse 36

These were the descendants of Shuthelah:

through Eran, the Eranite clan.

Вот потомки Шутелаха:

через Ерана – клан еранитов.

Verse 37

These were the clans of Ephraim; those numbered were 32,500.

These were the descendants of Joseph by their clans.

Это кланы Ефраима; исчислено было 32 500 человек.

Это потомки Юсуфа по их кланам.

Verse 38

The descendants of Benjamin by their clans were:

through Bela, the Belaite clan;

through Ashbel, the Ashbelite clan;

through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;

Потомки Вениамина по их кланам:

через Белу – клан белаитов;

через Ашбела – клан ашбелитов;

через Ахирама – клан ахирамитов;

Verse 39

through Shupham,^[c] the Shuphamite clan;

through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.

через Шуфама – клан шуфамитов;

через Хуфама – клан хуфамитов.

Verse 40

The descendants of Bela through Ard and Naaman were:

through Ard,^[d] the Ardite clan;

through Naaman, the Naamite clan.

Потомки Белы через Арда и Наамана:

через Арда – клан ардитов;

через Наамана – клан нааманитов.

Verse 41

These were the clans of Benjamin; those numbered were 45,600.

Это кланы Вениамина; исчислено было 45 600 человек.

Verse 42

These were the descendants of Dan by their clans:

through Shuham, the Shuhamite clan.

These were the clans of Dan:

Вот потомки Дана по их кланам:

через Шухама – клан шухамитов.

Verse 43

All of them were Shuhamite clans; and those numbered were 64,400.

все они были кланами шухамитов; исчислено было 64 400 человек.

Verse 44

The descendants of Asher by their clans were:

through Imnah, the Imnite clan;

through Ishvi, the Ishvite clan;

through Beriah, the Beriite clan;

Потомки Ашира по их кланам:

через Имну – клан имнитов;

через Ишви – клан ишвитов;

через Брию – клан бриитов;

Verse 45

and through the descendants of Beriah:

through Heber, the Heberite clan;

through Malkiel, the Malkielite clan.

а через потомков Брии:

через Хевера – клан хеверитов;

через Малкиила – клан малкиилитов.

Verse 46

(Asher had a daughter named Serah.)

(У Ашира была дочь, которую звали Серах.)

Verse 47

These were the clans of Asher; those numbered were 53,400.

Это кланы Ашира; исчислено было 53 400 человек.

Verse 48

The descendants of Naphtali by their clans were:

through Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan;

through Guni, the Gunite clan;

Потомки Неффалима по их кланам:

через Иахцеила – клан иахцеилитов;

через Гуни – клан гунитов;

Verse 49

through Jezer, the Jezerite clan;

through Shillem, the Shillemite clan.

через Иецера – клан иецеритов;

через Шиллема – клан шиллемитов.

Verse 50

These were the clans of Naphtali; those numbered were 45,400.

Это кланы Неффалима; исчислено было 45 400 человек.

Verse 51

The total number of the men of Israel was 601,730.

Всего исраильтян было 601 730 человек.

Verse 52

The Lord said to Moses,

Вечный сказал Мусе:

Verse 53

“The land is to be allotted to them as an inheritance based on the number of names.

– Землю нужно разделить между родами по числу людей.

Verse 54

To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one; each is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those listed.

Большему роду дай больший удел, а меньшему – меньший. Пусть каждый род получит надел по количеству исчисленных.

Verse 55

Be sure that the land is distributed by lot. What each group inherits will be according to the names for its ancestral tribe.

Пусть земля будет распределяться по жребию. Они получат наделы по числу людей в родах.

Verse 56

Each inheritance is to be distributed by lot among the larger and smaller groups.”

Пусть каждый надел распределяется по жребию между более и менее многочисленными.

Verse 57

These were the Levites who were counted by their clans:

through Gershon, the Gershonite clan;

through Kohath, the Kohathite clan;

through Merari, the Merarite clan.

Левиты, исчисленные по их кланам:

через Гершона – клан гершонитов;

через Каафа – клан каафитов;

через Мерари – клан мераритов.

Verse 58

These also were Levite clans:

the Libnite clan,

the Hebronite clan,

the Mahlite clan,

the Mushite clan,

the Korahite clan.

(Kohath was the forefather of Amram;

Вот кланы левитов:

клан ливнитов;

клан хевронитов;

клан махлитов;

клан мушитов;

клан корахитов.

(Кааф был предком Амрама.

Verse 59

the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, who was born to the Levites^[e] in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses and their sister Miriam.

Жену Амрама звали Иохеведа, она была из потомков Леви и родилась среди левитов^[a] в Египте. Амраму она родила Харуна, Мусу и их сестру Марьям.

Verse 60

Aaron was the father of Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Харун был отцом Надава и Авиуда, Элеазара и Итамара.

Verse 61

But Nadab and Abihu died when they made an offering before the Lord with unauthorized fire.)

Но Надав и Авиуд умерли, когда принесли Вечному чуждый огонь^[b].)

Verse 62

All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000. They were not counted along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance among them.

Всех исчисленных мужчин-левитов от месяца и старше было 23 000 человек. Они не были исчислены с остальными исраильтянами, потому что не получили своего надела.

Verse 63

These are the ones counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.

Вот те, кого исчислили Муса и священнослужитель Элеазар, когда они считали исраильтян на равнинах Моава у реки Иордана, напротив города Иерихона.

Verse 64

Not one of them was among those counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.

Среди них не было никого, кто был исчислен Мусой и священнослужителем Харуном, когда они считали исраильтян в Синайской пустыне.

Verse 65

For the Lord had told those Israelites they would surely die in the wilderness, and not one of them was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

Ведь Вечный сказал им, что они непременно умрут в пустыне, и из них не осталось никого, кроме Халева, сына Иефоннии, и Иешуа, сына Нуна.
