Luke 17

Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.

Иса сказал Своим ученикам:

– Всегда будет повод для греха, но горе тому, кто толкает людей на грех.

It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Для того, кто хотя бы одному из этих малых даст повод ко греху, было бы лучше, если бы ему надели на шею мельничный жёрнов и бросили в море.

So watch yourselves.

“If your brother or sister^[a] sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.

Поэтому следите за собой! Если твой брат согрешает, упрекни его, и если он раскается, прости его.

Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Если даже он согрешит против тебя семь раз в день и семь раз придёт к тебе и скажет: «Я каюсь», прости его.

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

Посланники Масиха как-то попросили Его:

– Прибавь нам веры!

He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

Повелитель ответил:

– Если у вас есть вера величиной хоть с горчичное зерно, то вы можете сказать этому тутовому дереву: «Вырвись с корнем и пересади себя в море», и оно вам подчинится.

“Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’?

– Допустим, у кого-то из вас есть раб, который пашет или пасёт овец. Скажете ли вы ему, когда он возвратится с поля: «Заходи, возляг и ешь»?

Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’?

Нет, вы скорее скажете: «Приготовь для меня ужин, затем подпояшься и прислуживай мне, пока я буду есть и пить, а потом будешь есть и пить сам».

Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?

Благодарит ли хозяин раба за то, что тот делает, что ему приказано?

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy

Так и вы, когда сделаете всё, что вам было приказано, говорите: «Мы недостойные рабы, мы сделали лишь то, что обязаны были сделать».

Исцеление десяти прокажённых

Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.

По пути в Иерусалим Иса проходил вдоль границы между Самарией и Галилеей.

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy^[b] met him. They stood at a distance

Когда Он входил в одно селение, Его встретили десять прокажённых. Остановившись неподалёку,

and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

они громко закричали:

– Иса, Наставник, сжалься над нами!

When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.

Когда Иса их увидел, Он сказал:

– Пойдите и покажитесь священнослужителям.

Те пошли и по дороге были исцелены.

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.

Один из них, как только увидел, что исцелён, возвратился, громко прославляя Всевышнего.

He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Он пал к ногам Исы и благодарил Его. И этот человек был самарянином^[a].

Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

– Разве не десять человек были очищены? – спросил Иса. – Где же остальные девять?

Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”

Почему никто из них, кроме этого чужеземца, не возвратился, чтобы прославить Всевышнего?

Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

The Coming of the Kingdom of God

И сказал самарянину:

– Встань и иди, твоя вера спасла тебя.

О возвращении Ниспосланного как Человек

Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed,

Однажды блюстители Закона спросили Ису, когда придёт Царство Всевышнего. Он ответил:

– Царство Всевышнего не придёт зримым образом.^[b]

nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”^[c]

Никто не сможет сказать: «Вот, оно здесь» или «Оно там», потому что Царство Всевышнего уже среди вас.

Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

Потом Он сказал ученикам:

– Придёт такое время, когда вы захотите увидеть хотя бы один из дней правления Ниспосланного как Человек, но не увидите.

People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.

Вам будут говорить: «Вон, Он там!» или «Вот, Он здесь!» – но вы не бегите смотреть.

For the Son of Man in his day^[d] will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

Потому что, когда Ниспосланный как Человек придёт вновь, это будет подобно блеску молнии, освещающему небо от края и до края.

But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Но прежде Ему предстоит вытерпеть много страданий и быть отвергнутым этим поколением.

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

Но как было во времена Нуха^[c], так будет и в дни перед возвращением Ниспосланного как Человек.

People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

Люди ели, пили, женились и выходили замуж до того дня, когда Нух вошёл в ковчег. Потом пришёл потоп и всех их уничтожил.

“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.

То же самое было и в дни Лута. Люди ели и пили, покупали и продавали, сажали и строили.

But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

Но в день, когда Лут покинул Содом, с неба пролились дождём огонь и сера и всех их уничтожили.

“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

Так же будет и в день, когда явится Ниспосланный как Человек.

On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.

В тот день, если кто-то окажется на крыше, а его вещи – в доме, пусть он не спускается вниз за вещами. И кто в поле – пусть уже не возвращается.

Remember Lot’s wife!

Помните жену Лута!^[d]

Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.

Кто пытается сохранить свою жизнь, тот потеряет её, и кто потеряет свою жизнь за Меня, тот сохранит её.

I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.

Говорю вам, что в ту ночь двое будут на одной постели, и один будет взят, а другой оставлен.^[e]

Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” ^[36] [e]

Две женщины будут вместе молоть зерно, и одна будет взята, а другая оставлена.^[f]

“Where, Lord?” they asked.

He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

– Где, Повелитель? – спросили они. Иса ответил:

– Где труп, туда соберутся и стервятники.^[g]
