“Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests.

Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.

Сделай своему брату Харуну священные одеяния для славы и величия.

Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.

Вели мастерам, которым Я дал мудрость в таких делах, сделать одеяния для посвящения Харуна, чтобы он мог быть Моим священнослужителем.

These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.

Have them use gold, and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.

The Ephod

пусть они берут золотые нити, голубую, пурпурную и алую пряжу и кручёный лён.

“Make the ephod of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen—the work of skilled hands.

– Пусть ефод будет искусной работы из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и кручёного льна, с добавлением золотой нити.

It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be fastened.

У ефода должно быть два наплечника, прикреплённых по двум углам, чтобы он застёгивался.

Its skillfully woven waistband is to be like it—of one piece with the ephod and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and with finely twisted linen.

Искусно сотканный пояс ефода должен быть подобен ему – из одного с ним материала: из золотой нити, из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и кручёного льна.

“Take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel

Возьми два оникса и вырежь на них имена сыновей Исраила

in the order of their birth—six names on one stone and the remaining six on the other.

в порядке их рождения – шесть имён на одном камне и шесть – на другом.

Engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones the way a gem cutter engraves a seal. Then mount the stones in gold filigree settings

Вырежь имена сыновей Исраила на двух камнях, как камнерез вырезает печать. Вставь камни в золотые филигранные оправы

and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders as a memorial before the Lord.

и прикрепи их к наплечникам ефода как памятные камни для сыновей Исраила. Харун будет носить их имена на плечах как памятный знак перед Вечным.

Make gold filigree settings

Сделай золотые филигранные оправы

and two braided chains of pure gold, like a rope, and attach the chains to the settings.

The Breastpiece

и две цепочки из чистого золота, свитые подобно верёвке. Прикрепи цепочки к оправам.

Нагрудник

“Fashion a breastpiece for making decisions—the work of skilled hands. Make it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.

– Сделай нагрудник решений искусной работы, подобно ефоду: из золотой нити, из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и из кручёного льна.

It is to be square—a span^[a] long and a span wide—and folded double.

Пусть он будет квадратным, двадцать два сантиметра^[a] в длину и ширину, из сложенной вдвое ткани.

Then mount four rows of precious stones on it. The first row shall be carnelian, chrysolite and beryl;

Вставь в него четыре ряда драгоценных камней. В первом ряду пусть будут рубин, топаз и берилл;

the second row shall be turquoise, lapis lazuli and emerald;

во втором ряду – бирюза, сапфир и изумруд;

the third row shall be jacinth, agate and amethyst;

в третьем ряду – гиацинт, агат и аметист;

the fourth row shall be topaz, onyx and jasper.^[b] Mount them in gold filigree settings.

в четвёртом ряду – хризолит, оникс и яшма.^[b] Вставь их в золотые филигранные оправы.

There are to be twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.

Камней должно быть двенадцать – по одному на каждое из имён сыновей Исраила; на каждом камне, как на печати, должно быть вырезано имя одного из двенадцати родов.

“For the breastpiece make braided chains of pure gold, like a rope.

Для нагрудника сделай цепочки из чистого золота, свитые подобно верёвке.

Make two gold rings for it and fasten them to two corners of the breastpiece.

Сделай для него два золотых кольца и прикрепи их к двум углам нагрудника.

Fasten the two gold chains to the rings at the corners of the breastpiece,

Прикрепи две золотые цепочки к кольцам на углах нагрудника,

and the other ends of the chains to the two settings, attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front.

а другие концы цепочек – к двум оправам, присоединяя их к наплечникам ефода спереди.

Make two gold rings and attach them to the other two corners of the breastpiece on the inside edge next to the ephod.

Сделай ещё два золотых кольца и прикрепи их к двум другим углам нагрудника с внутренней стороны ефода.

Make two more gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the seam just above the waistband of the ephod.

Сделай ещё два золотых кольца и прикрепи их снизу к наплечникам ефода спереди, рядом со швом прямо над поясом ефода.

The rings of the breastpiece are to be tied to the rings of the ephod with blue cord, connecting it to the waistband, so that the breastpiece will not swing out from the ephod.

Кольца нагрудника пусть будут привязаны к кольцам ефода голубым шнуром, соединяющим нагрудник с поясом так, чтобы нагрудник не спадал с ефода.

“Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a continuing memorial before the Lord.

Входя в святилище, Харун будет носить имена сыновей Исраила у сердца, на нагруднике решений, как постоянное напоминание перед Вечным.

Also put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastpiece, so they may be over Aaron’s heart whenever he enters the presence of the Lord. Thus Aaron will always bear the means of making decisions for the Israelites over his heart before the Lord.

Other Priestly Garments

Ещё помести на нагрудник священный жребий^[c], чтобы он был у сердца Харуна каждый раз, когда он будет входить к Вечному. Так Харун всегда будет носить у сердца средство, с помощью которого исраильтяне смогут распознавать волю Вечного.

Другие одеяния верховного священнослужителя

“Make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth,

– Сделай верхнюю ризу под ефод голубой,

with an opening for the head in its center. There shall be a woven edge like a collar^[c] around this opening, so that it will not tear.

с вырезом для головы в середине, подшитым тканой тесьмой, как для воротника, чтобы он не рвался.

Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them.

Нашей плоды гранатового дерева из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи по нижнему краю верхней ризы, с золотыми колокольчиками между ними.

The gold bells and the pomegranates are to alternate around the hem of the robe.

Пусть золотые колокольчики и гранатовые плоды чередуются по нижнему краю ризы.

Aaron must wear it when he ministers. The sound of the bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord and when he comes out, so that he will not die.

Харун будет носить её, когда будет служить Мне. Звук колокольчиков будет раздаваться, когда он будет входить в Святое Святых перед лицо Вечного, и когда он будет выходить, чтобы Харун не умер.

“Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord.

Сделай пластинку из чистого золота и вырежь на ней, как на печати: СВЯТЫНЯ ВЕЧНОГО.

Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban.

Прикрепи её к тюрбану голубым шнуром. Пусть она будет спереди тюрбана.

It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable to the Lord.

Она будет на лбу Харуна, и он примет на себя вину за любую оплошность при принесении священных даров, которые исраильтяне отделяют для пожертвований. Она будет на лбу Харуна постоянно, чтобы дары были угодны Вечному.

“Weave the tunic of fine linen and make the turban of fine linen. The sash is to be the work of an embroiderer.

Сотки рубашку из тонкого льна и сделай к ней тюрбан из тонкого льна. Пусть пояс будет украшен шитьём.

Одежда для остальных священнослужителей

Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons to give them dignity and honor.

– Сотки рубашки, пояса и головные повязки и сыновьям Харуна для славы и величия.

After you put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint and ordain them. Consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.

Когда ты наденешь эти одежды на своего брата Харуна и его сыновей, помажь и посвяти их в сан. Освяти их, чтобы они могли быть Моими священнослужителями.

“Make linen undergarments as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh.

Сделай им льняное нижнее бельё, чтобы прикрывать их от пояса до бёдер.

Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.

“This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants.

Харун и его сыновья должны одевать его всегда, когда входят в шатёр встречи или приближаются к жертвеннику, чтобы служить в святилище, тогда они не провинятся и не умрут.

Это установление для Харуна и его потомков будет вечным.
