Her prophets are reckless and treacherous men;Her priests have profaned the sanctuary;They have done violence to the law [by pretending their word is God’s word].

أَنْبِيَاؤُهَا مَغْرُورُونَ وَخَوَنَةٌ، وَكَهَنَتُهَا يُدَنِّسُونَ الْمَقْدِسَ وَيَتَعَدُّونَ عَلَى الشَّرِيعَةِ.

Dens profeter går rundt og praler, men er fulde af løgn og bedrag.Dens præster håner det, som er helligt, overtræder Guds love uden skrupler.
