Zechariah 1:4

Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Repent [that is, change your way of thinking] and return now from your evil way [of life] and from your evil deeds.”’ But they did not listen or pay attention to Me,” declares the Lord.

Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.

“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.”’ But they did not listen or give heed to Me,” declares the Lord.

“Do not be like your people of long ago. The earlier prophets gave them my message. I said, ‘Stop doing what is evil. Turn away from your sinful practices.’ But they would not listen to me. They would not pay any attention,” announces the Lord.

Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.

وَلا تَكُونُوا كَآبَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ نَادَاهُمُ الأَنْبِيَاءُ السَّالِفُونَ قَائِلِينَ: هَكَذَا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ، ارْجِعُوا عَنْ طُرُقِكُمُ الْبَاطِلَةِ وَأَعْمَالِكُمُ الشِّرِّيرَةِ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا وَلَمْ يُصْغُوا إِلَيَّ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ.

Seid nicht wie eure Vorfahren, die nicht auf mich hören wollten, als ich ihnen durch die Propheten zurufen ließ: ›So spricht der Herr, der allmächtige Gott: Kehrt um von euren falschen Wegen; hört endlich auf, Böses zu tun!‹ Sie schenkten meinen Worten keine Beachtung.

Ne faites pas comme vos ancêtres, que les prophètes d’autrefois ont exhortés en leur disant : « Voici ce que déclare le Seigneur des armées célestes : Abandonnez votre mauvaise conduite et renoncez à vos mauvaises actions. » Mais vos ancêtres n’ont pas écouté, ils n’ont pas prêté attention à mes paroles, l’Eternel le déclare.

Indi ninyo pagsunda ang ginhimo sang inyo mga katigulangan. Ginsugo ko sadto ang mga propeta nga hambalan sila nga talikdan na nila ang ila malaot nga mga ginahimo, pero wala sila nagpati. Wala gid sila nagtuman sa akon.

先祖たちのようであってはならない。先の預言者たちは、先祖たちに悪の道から離れるように訴えたが、むだだった。「さあ、わたしのもとに帰れ」と神、主は語った。だが彼らは聞こうとせず、全く心を向けなかった。 5-6 先祖も預言者も、とうの昔に死んでしまったが、彼らが学んだ、「神のことばは永遠にとどまる」という教訓を忘れてはならない。神のことばは彼らに迫り、彼らを罰した。それで、ようやく悔い改めたのだ。彼らは言った。「神から当然の報いを受けた。神は警告どおりのことをなさったのだ。」 ミルトスの木の間にいる人（第一の幻）

너희는 너희 조상들과 같이 되지 말아라. 오래 전에 예언자들이 그들에게 악하고 죄된 생활을 하지 말라는 나 여호와의 말을 전하였으나 그들은 듣지 않고 내 말에 순종하지 않았다.

Wees niet zoals uw voorouders! De vroegere profeten zeiden tegen hen: “De Here van de hemelse legers zegt dat u moet ophouden met uw kwade praktijken,” maar zij luisterden niet. Zij bekommerden zich niet om Mij.

“Não sejam como os seus antepassados aos quais os antigos profetas proclamaram: ‘Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Deixem os seus caminhos e as suas más obras’. Mas eles não me ouviram nem me deram atenção”, declara o Senhor.

Não sejam como os vossos pais! Os primeiros profetas em vão insistiram com eles para que se arrependessem dos seus maus caminhos. Venham, tornem para mim, dizia o Senhor Deus. Mas não, não quiseram ouvir-me, não me deram ouvidos!

Nu fiţi ca strămoşii voştri, cărora le proclamau profeţii din vechime, zicându-le din partea Domnului Oştirilor: ‘Întoarceţi-vă de la căile voastre cele rele, de la faptele voastre cele rele!’ Ei n-au ascultat şi nici măcar nu Mi-au dat atenţie, zice Domnul.

Var inte som era förfäder! För dem predikade de tidigare profeterna: Så säger härskarornas Herre: ’Vänd om från era onda vägar och era onda gärningar.’ Men de lyssnade inte och brydde sig inte om mig, säger Herren.

อย่าเป็นเหมือนบรรพบุรุษของพวกเจ้า ซึ่งบรรดาผู้เผยพระวจนะแต่ก่อนเคยประกาศดังนี้ว่า พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ตรัสว่า ‘จงหันจากวิถีและความประพฤติอันชั่วช้าของพวกเจ้า’ แต่พวกเขาไม่ได้ฟังหรือใส่ใจเราเลย องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประกาศดังนั้น

不要像你们的祖先一样。以前的先知曾呼唤他们要听从万军之耶和华的话，改邪归正，停止作恶，他们却置若罔闻，不予理会。这是耶和华说的。

不 要 效 法 你 们 列 祖 。 从 前 的 先 知 呼 叫 他 们 说 ， 万 军 之 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 你 们 要 回 头 离 开 你 们 的 恶 道 恶 行 。 他 们 却 不 听 ， 也 不 顺 从 我 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

不要像你們的祖先一樣。以前的先知曾呼喚他們要聽從萬軍之耶和華的話，改邪歸正，停止作惡，他們卻置若罔聞，不予理會。這是耶和華說的。
