Romans 3:21

But now the righteousness of God has been clearly revealed [independently and completely] apart from the Law, though it is [actually] confirmed by the Law and the [words and writings of the] Prophets.

Pero Dios nos ha mostrado ahora su justicia por un camino distinto de la ley, pero un camino acerca del cual la propia ley y los escritos de los profetas ya han dado testimonio:

But now God has shown us his saving power without the help of the law. But the Law and the Prophets tell us about this.

Dnes však už známe jinou cestu k věčnému životu než spoléhání se na vlastní dodržování Božích zákonů. Už Mojžíš a proroci o ní mluvili, 22-23 ale teprve Kristem ji Bůh otevřel. On sám, jak odpovídá jeho povaze, rozhodl se dát novou příležitost lidem, kteří svými vinami ztratili podíl na Boží slávě: odevzdat život do všech důsledků Kristu.

עתה נתגלה האופן שבו מצדיק ה' את האדם ללא התורה, אם כי התורה והנביאים כבר העידו על כך.

Ale teraz nám Boh ukázal inú cestu, ako získať večný život -- nie tak, že budeme dobrí" a pokúsime sa zachovávať Boží zákon. Už Mojžiš a proroci o nej hovorili, ale až Kristom ju Boh otvoril.

Men nu har Gud visat en rättfärdighet som inte är beroende av lagen. Lagen och profeterna vittnar dock om den.
