Romans 1:21

For even though [d]they knew God [as the Creator], they did not [e]honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

porque sí lo conocen, sólo que se niegan a reconocerlo como Dios y a estarle agradecidos. Además se enredan en inútiles razonamientos que no traen a su necia mente más que oscuridad y confusión.

They knew God. But they didn’t honor him as God. They didn’t thank him. Their thinking became worthless. Their foolish hearts became dark.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.

فَمَعَ أَنَّهُمْ عَرَفُوا اللهَ، لَمْ يُمَجِّدُوهُ بِاعْتِبَارِهِ اللهَ، وَلا شَكَرُوهُ، بَلِ انْصَرَفُوا بِتَفْكِيرِهِمْ إِلَى الْحَمَاقَةِ وَصَارَ قَلْبُهُمْ لِغَبَاوَتِهِ مُظْلِماً.

Bisan nasayran nila nga adunay Dios, wala sila magpasidungog ug magpasalamat kaniya. Hinuon, nahimong walay kapuslanan ang ilang mga panghunahuna. Nangitngitan ang ilang mga salabotan mahitungod sa kamatuoran.

Leccos o Bohu poznali, a přece ho jako Boha nectili. Spláceli mu nevděčností. To je zavedlo na scestí a jejich mysl pozbyla schopnosti rozpoznat pravdu.

De kender altså noget til Gud, men de viser ham hverken respekt eller taknemmelighed. Tværtimod har deres tåbelige tanker ført dem ud i et tomt og håbløst liv.

car alors qu’ils connaissent Dieu, ils ne lui rendent pas l’honneur que l’on doit à Dieu et ne lui expriment pas leur reconnaissance. Ils se sont égarés dans des raisonnements absurdes et leur pensée dépourvue d’intelligence s’est trouvée obscurcie.

כי למרות שידעו והכירו את האלוהים, לא כיבדוהו בכבוד המגיע לו, וגם לא הודו לו על כל מה שעשה למענם. לעומת זאת הם העסיקו את מוחם בדברי שטות והבל, עד כי מוחם שקע בבלבול ובטמטום.

Bisan nahibaluan nila nga may Dios, wala sila nagapadungog kag nagapasalamat sa iya. Sa baylo, nangin wala sing pulos ang ila mga panghunahuna. Nadulman ang ila mga hunahuna nga indi makaintiendi sang kamatuoran.

Jer iako su znali da Bog postoji, nisu mu kao Bogu iskazali ni slavu ni zahvalnost, nego su im misli postale ispraznima, a nerazumno im je srce potamnjelo.

Perché, pur conoscendo Dio, non lʼhanno accettato, non lʼhanno adorato, e tanto meno lʼhanno ringraziato per tutto ciò che egli fa per loro di giorno in giorno. Si sono abbandonati, invece, a sciocchi ragionamenti e si sono confusi sempre di più.

그들은 하나님을 알면서도 그분을 하나님으로서 영광스럽게 하지 않고 감사하지도 않으며 그들의 생각은 쓸모없고 그들의 어리석은 마음은 어두워졌습니다.

Til tross for at menneskene kjente Gud, nektet de å tilbe ham som Gud og takke ham. I stedet henga de seg til egne fantasier om tilværelsen. Deres forvirrede sinn ble fylt av et åndelig mørke.

Hoewel de mensen in staat waren God te kennen, wilden zij Hem niet de eer geven die Hem toekomt en Hem niet eens danken voor alles wat Hij heeft gedaan. Zij hielden zich met allerlei ideeën bezig. In hun verdwazing raakten zij het spoor bijster.

Zatem ludzie poznali Boga, ale nie chcieli oddawać Mu czci ani dziękować. Popadli w bezsensowne rozmyślania i pogrążyli swoje serca w ciemnościach.

Pois ainda que tendo conhecido a Deus, não o glorificaram como Deus e nem sequer foram agradecidos. Antes começaram a formar ideias absurdas. O resultado foi que as suas mentes insensatas se tornaram obscuras.

他们虽然明知有上帝，却不把祂当作上帝，既不将荣耀归给祂，也不感谢祂。他们的思想因此变得荒谬无用，无知的心也变得昏暗不明。
