To You belongs silence [the submissive wonder of reverence], and [it bursts into] praise in Zion, O God;And to You the vow shall be performed.
Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
1-2 Silence is praise to you, Zion-dwelling God,And also obedience. You hear the prayer in it all.
There will be silence [a]before You, and praise in Zion, O God,And to You the vow will be performed.
Our God, we look forward to praising you in Zion. We will keep our promises to you.
