Proverbs 4:1

Hear, O children, the instruction of a father,And pay attention [and be willing to learn] so that you may gain understanding and intelligent discernment.

Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

1-2 Listen, friends, to some fatherly advice; sit up and take notice so you’ll know how to live.I’m giving you good counsel; don’t let it go in one ear and out the other.

اسْتَمِعُوا أَيُّهَا الْبَنُونَ إِلَى إِرْشَادِ الأَبِ، وَأَصْغُوا لِتَكْتَسِبُوا الْفِطْنَةَ،

Min søn, lyt til din fars formaninger, hør godt efter, så du kan blive klogere,

Ihr jungen Männer, hört auf mich wie auf euren Vater! Achtet auf meine Lehre, damit ihr klug werdet!

Mga anak, pamatii ninyo sing maayo ang mga pagtadlong sang inyo amay sa inyo pamatasan, agod may matun-an kamo.

1-2 さあ、父親の話を聞くように、私の言うことを聞きなさい。知恵のある人になるために、私が教える真理を勉強しなさい。顔をそむけてはいけません。

내 아들들아, 너희 아버지가 가르치는 말을 잘 들어라. 유의해서 들으면 깨달 음을 얻을 것이다.

Luister naar de lessen van een vader, mijn kinderen. Luister goed, want zij leren je verstandig te leven.

Ouçam, meus filhos, a instrução de um pai;estejam atentos, e obterão discernimento.

Jovens, escutem-me como se ouvissem o vosso pai;estejam atentos, a fim de crescerem em sensatez.

Ascultaţi, fiilor, povaţa unui tată; fiţi atenţi şi veţi dobândi pricepere!

ลูกทั้งหลายเอ๋ย จงตั้งใจฟังคำสั่งสอนของพ่อเจ้าจงใส่ใจเพื่อจะได้ความเข้าใจ

孩子们啊， 你们要听从父亲的教诲， 留心学习，以便领悟，

众 子 啊 ， 要 听 父 亲 的 教 训 ， 留 心 得 知 聪 明 。

孩子們啊， 你們要聽從父親的教誨， 留心學習，以便領悟，
