Proverbs 14:15

The naive or inexperienced person [is easily misled and] believes every word he hears,But the prudent man [is discreet and astute and] considers well where he is going.

The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

The gullible believe anything they’re told; the prudent sift and weigh every word.

The [h]naive believes everything,But the sensible man considers his steps.

A childish person believes anything. But a wise person thinks about how they live.

الْغَبِيُّ يُصَدِّقُ كُلَّ كَلِمَةٍ تُقَالُ لَهُ، وَالْعَاقِلُ يَتَنَبَّهُ إِلَى مَوْقِعِ خَطْوَاتِهِ.

Den naive tror på hvad som helst, den kloge tænker sig godt om.

Nur ein gedankenloser Mensch glaubt jedes Wort! Der Vernünftige prüft alles, bevor er handelt.
