Proverbs 1:2

To know [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction;To discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight,

Proverbs teach you wisdom and instruct you. They help you understand wise sayings.

for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight;

Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise.

لِتَعْلِيمِ الْحِكْمَةِ وَالْفَهْمِ، وَإِدْرَاكِ مَعَانِي الْأَقْوَالِ الْمَأْثُورَةِ.

Formålet med ordsprogene er at vejlede folk og give dem visdom, at hjælpe dem til at skelne mellem rigtigt og forkert.

Wenn du seine Worte beachtest, wirst du Weisheit erlangen und zu einem verständigen Menschen heranreifen. Die Sprüche helfen dir, dein Leben sinnvoll zu gestalten, und machen dich fähig, gute Ratschläge zu erkennen und anzunehmen.
