Numbers 35:33

So you shall not pollute and defile the land in which you live; for [the shedding of innocent] blood pollutes and defiles the land. No atonement (expiation) can be made for the land for the [innocent] blood shed in it, except by the blood (execution) of him who shed it.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

“Don’t pollute the land in which you live. Murder pollutes the land. The land can’t be cleaned up of the blood of murder except through the blood of the murderer.

لَا تُدَنِّسُوا الأَرْضَ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ فِيهَا، لأَنَّ سَفْكَ الدَّمِ يُدَنِّسُ الأَرْضَ، وَلا يُكَفَّرُ عَنِ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي سُفِكَ عَلَيْهَا الدَّمُ إِلا بِدَمِ السَّافِكِ.

Ihr sollt das Land, in dem ihr lebt, nicht entweihen. Entweiht wird es, wenn jemand darin einen anderen Menschen ermordet. Es kann nur dadurch wieder rein werden, dass der Mörder selbst sein Leben lässt.

こうして、自分たちの土地が汚れるのを防ぐのだ。殺人で流された血は土地を汚す。それをきよめるには、殺人犯を死刑にするしかない。
