Numbers 25:13

And it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous (impassioned) for [the unique honor and respect owed to] his God and made [b]atonement for the sons of Israel.’”

这 约 要 给 他 和 他 的 後 裔 ， 作 为 永 远 当 祭 司 职 任 的 约 ； 因 他 为 神 有 忌 邪 的 心 ， 为 以 色 列 人 赎 罪 。

使他和他的後代憑此約可以永遠做祭司，因為他為我除掉了不貞之人，為以色列人贖了罪。」
