Numbers 25:11

“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the Israelites because he was [a]jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the Israelites in My jealousy.

Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned away My wrath from the sons of Israel in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them, so that I did not destroy the sons of Israel in My jealousy.

“Phinehas is a priest. He is the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron. Phinehas has turned my anger away from the Israelites. I am committed to making sure I am honored among them. And he is as committed as I am. So even though I was angry with them, I did not put an end to them.

“Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites. Since he was as zealous for my honor among them as I am, I did not put an end to them in my zeal.

“Phinehas son of Eleazar and grandson of Aaron the priest has turned my anger away from the Israelites by being as zealous among them as I was. So I stopped destroying all Israel as I had intended to do in my zealous anger.

«إِنَّ فِينْحَاسَ بْنَ أَلِعَازَارَ بْنِ هَرُونَ الْكَاهِنِ قَدْ رَدَّ غَضَبِي عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، إِذْ غَارَ غَيْرَتِي فِي وَسَطِهِمْ، فَلَمْ أَفْنِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِغَيْرَتِي.

„Du kan takke Pinehas for at plagen standsede, for han forstod min harme og afværgede, at min vrede gjorde yderligere indhug iblandt jer. 12-13 Fordi han handlede i nidkærhed for Gud, og fordi han derved skaffede soning for Israels folk, lover jeg ham og hans efterkommere, at de altid skal være mine præster.”

“Ginkuha ni Finehas nga anak ni Eleazar kag apo ni Aaron nga pari ang kaakig ko sa mga Israelinhon, tungod kay akig gid siya sa sala pareho sa akon. Gani wala ko pag-ubusa pamatay ang mga Israelinhon, nga himuon ko kuntani sa ila tungod sa akon kaakig.

“나는 비느하스가 행한 일로 이스라엘 백성에게서 분노를 거두었다. 그가 내 명예를 위해 나처럼 분개하였으므로 내가 분노로 그들을 전멸시키려던 뜻을 돌이켰다. 12-13 그러므로 너는 그에게 내가 그와 그의 후손에게 영원한 제사장 직분을 주기로 약속한다고 말하라. 그는 나를 위해 분개하여 이스라엘 백성을 속죄하였다.”

“Finéias, filho de Eleazar, neto do sacerdote Arão, desviou a minha ira de sobre os israelitas, pois foi zeloso, com o mesmo zelo que tenho por eles, para que em meu zelo eu não os consumisse.

“Fineias, o filho de Eleazar e neto de Aarão, o sacerdote, conseguiu afastar a minha cólera, porque estava tão indignado como eu, com zelo pela minha honra; e dessa maneira suspendi a destruição de todo o Israel, como era minha intenção.

„Fineas, fiul lui Elazar, fiul preotului Aaron, a abătut mânia Mea de la israeliţi, căci a fost plin de râvnă ca şi Mine[e], în mijlocul lor, şi de aceea, în râvna Mea, nu i-am nimicit de tot pe israeliţi.

”Eftersom Pinechas, son till Elasar, har vänt min vrede från israeliterna, för han brann av samma lidelse som jag bland dem, utrotade jag inte israeliterna i min lidelse.

“ฟีเนหัสบุตรเอเลอาซาร์ หลานชายปุโรหิตอาโรน เป็นผู้หันโทสะของเราไปจากชนอิสราเอล เพราะเขาเจ็บแค้นแทนเรา เพื่อปกป้องเกียรติของเรา เราจึงหยุดทำลายล้างอิสราเอลตามที่ตั้งใจไว้
