När åsnan fick se Herrens ängel stå där, pressade hon sig mot muren. Då kom Bileams fot i kläm mot muren och han slog åsnan på nytt.

เมื่อลาเห็นทูตขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าก็เบียดตัวชิดรั้วทำให้เท้าของบาลาอัมกระแทกกับกำแพงรั้ว เขาจึงตีลาอีก

驴看见耶和华的天使，就靠着墙边走，将巴兰的脚挤伤了。巴兰又鞭打它。
