Numbers 14:18

‘The Lord is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving wickedness and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting (avenging) the wickedness and guilt of the fathers on the children, to the third and fourth generations [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers].’

The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

God, slow to get angry and huge in loyal love, forgiving iniquity and rebellion and sin; Still, never just whitewashing sin. But extending the fallout of parents’ sins to children into the third, even the fourth generation.

الرَّبُّ طَوِيلُ الأَنَاةِ، وَافِرُ الرَّحْمَةِ، يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَالسَّيِّئَةَ. لَكِنَّهُ لَا يُبْرِئُ، بَلْ يَفْتَقِدُ ذَنْبَ الآبَاءِ فِي الأَبْنَاءِ إِلَى الْجِيلِ الثَّالِثِ وَالرَّابِعِ.

at du sjældent bliver vred, og at din trofasthed er stor. Du tilgiver mennesker deres synd og oprør, også selv om den skyldige skal straffes og fædrenes synd får konsekvenser indtil tredje eller fjerde slægtled.

주께서는 쉽게 노하시지 않고 사랑과 자비가 많아서 죄와 잘못을 용서하시지만 그렇다고 범죄한 자를 벌하지 않은 채 그대로 두지는 않을 것이며 그 죄에 대하여 자손 삼사 대까지 벌할 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

‘O Senhor é muito paciente e grande em fidelidade, e perdoa a iniqüidade e a rebelião, se bem que não deixa o pecado sem punição, e castiga os filhos pela iniqüidade dos pais até a terceira e quarta geração’.

e fazendo prova do teu profundo amor para connosco. Perdoa-nos ainda que tenhas dito que não deixarás o pecado por castigar, mas que punirás a culpa dos pais nos filhos, até à terceira e quarta geração.

’Herren är sen till vrede och nådefull. Han förlåter synd och missgärning, men han kan inte låta den skyldige få vara ostraffad utan straffar föräldrarnas missgärningar på barnen ända till tredje och fjärde generationen.’

‘耶和华不轻易发怒，充满慈爱；祂赦免罪恶和过犯，但决不免除罪责，必向子孙追讨父辈的罪债，直到三四代。’

『耶和華不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛；祂赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。』
