Nehemiah 9:27

“Therefore You handed them over to their enemies who oppressed them.But when they cried out to You in the time of their suffering and distress,You heard them from heaven, and according to Your great compassion You gave them [k]people to rescue them.Who rescued them from the hand of their enemies.

Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

So you handed them over to their enemies, who treated them badly. Then they cried out to you. From heaven you heard them. You loved them very much. So you sent leaders to help them. The leaders saved them from the power of their enemies.

So you delivered them into the hands of their enemies, who oppressed them. But when they were oppressed they cried out to you. From heaven you heard them, and in your great compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the hand of their enemies.

عِنْدَئِذٍ أَسْلَمْتَهُمْ لِمُضَايِقِيهِمْ، فَسَامُوهُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ. وَفِي ضِيقِهِمِ اسْتَغَاثُوا بِكَ، فَاسْتَجَبْتَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ. وَبِفَضْلِ مَرَاحِمِكَ الْغَزِيرَةِ بَعَثْتَ مَنْ أَنْقَذَهُمْ مِنْ يَدِ مُضَايِقِيهِمْ.

Da udleverede du dem til fjenderne, og de kom i stor nød og ulykke.I deres lidelser råbte de til dig, og du hørte deres råb i din Himmel.I din nåde sendte du dem ledere, som frelste dem fra deres fjender.

Da ließest du ihre Feinde Macht über sie gewinnen, grausam wurden sie von ihnen unterdrückt. In ihrer Not schrien sie zu dir um Hilfe, und du erhörtest sie im Himmel, weil du Erbarmen mit ihnen hattest. Du schicktest ihnen Retter, die sie von ihren Unterdrückern befreiten.

Därför överlämnade du dem åt deras fiender, och de förtryckte dem. Men i sin nöd ropade de till dig, och du hörde dem från himlen. I din stora barmhärtighet sände du dem befriare, som räddade dem ur deras fienders våld.
