Nehemiah 4:2

He spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Can they restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the heaps of dust and rubbish, even the ones that have been burned?”

And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?

He spoke in the presence of his brothers and the [b]wealthy men of Samaria and said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the [c]dusty rubble even the burned ones?”

He spoke to his friends and the army of Samaria. He said, “What are those Jews trying to do? Can they make their city wall like new again? Will they offer sacrifices? Can they finish everything in a single day? The stones from their city wall and buildings are piled up like trash. And everything has been badly burned. Can they use those stones to rebuild everything again?”

and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?”

saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers, “What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they’re doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices?[b] Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap—and charred ones at that?”

وَتَسَاءَلَ أَمَامَ أَقْرِبَائِهِ وَجَيْشِ السَّامِرَةِ: «أَيُّ شَيْءٍ يَفْعَلُهُ هَؤُلاءِ الْيَهُودُ الضُّعَفَاءُ؟ هَلْ فِي وُسْعِهِمْ أَنْ يُعِيدُوا بِنَاءَ السُّورِ؟ هَلْ يَعُودُونَ لِتَقْرِيبِ الذَّبَائِحِ؟ هَلْ يُكْمِلُونَ الْبِنَاءَ فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ؟ هَلْ يُحْيُونَ الْحِجَارَةَ مِنْ أَكْوَامِ الرُّكَامِ وَهِيَ مُحْتَرِقَةٌ؟»

De dannede en sammensværgelse og lagde planer om at angribe Jerusalem for at sætte en stopper for arbejdet.

Ante sus compañeros y el ejército de Samaria dijo:―¿Qué están haciendo estos miserables judíos? ¿Creen que se les va a dejar que reconstruyan y que vuelvan a ofrecer sacrificios? ¿Piensan acaso terminar en un solo día? ¿Cómo creen que de esas piedras quemadas, de esos escombros, van a hacer algo nuevo?

Ante sus compañeros y el ejército de Samaria dijo:—¿Qué están haciendo estos miserables judíos? ¿Creen que se les va a dejar que reconstruyan y que vuelvan a ofrecer sacrificios? ¿Piensan acaso terminar en un solo día? ¿Cómo creen que de esas piedras quemadas, de esos escombros, van a hacer algo nuevo?

Ils se liguèrent tous ensemble pour aller attaquer Jérusalem et y semer le désordre.

Sa atubangan sang iya mga kaupod kag sang mga soldado sang Samaria, nagsiling siya, “Ano bala ang ginahimo sining makaluluoy nga mga Judio? Nagahunahuna bala sila nga sa isa lang ka adlaw mapatindog nila liwat ang mga pader sang Jerusalem kag makahalad sila liwat? Abi siguro nila magamit pa nila ang mga nasunog kag nadugmok nga mga bato sang pader!”

자기 친구들과 사마리아 군인들 앞에서 이렇게 말하였다. “이 연약한 유대인들이 지금 하고 있는 일이 무엇인가? 성을 재건하려는가? 제사를 드릴 작정인가? 하루에 공사를 끝마칠 셈인가? 다 타 버린 잿더미 속에서 돌을 끄집어내어 다시 사용하겠다는 말인가?”

‘Wat denken die Judeeërs wel dat ze aan het doen zijn? Zij kunnen er niets van,’ zei hij spottend. ‘Denken ze dat dit karwei in één dag is geklaard, dat ze daar offers kunnen brengen? Kijk eens! Zelfs die oude stenen uit het puin proberen zij opnieuw te gebruiken!’

e, na presença de seus compatriotas e dos poderosos de Samaria, disse: “O que aqueles frágeis judeus estão fazendo? Será que vão restaurar o seu muro? Irão oferecer sacrifícios? Irão terminar a obra num só dia? Será que vão conseguir ressuscitar pedras de construção daqueles montes de entulho e de pedras queimadas?”

O mesmo fizeram os seus amigos, assim como os oficiais do exército samaritano: “O que é que este desprezível punhado de judeus pretende fazer? Pensarão eles que podem reconstruir as muralhas num só dia? Oferecerão eles sacrifícios? Vejam aqueles montões de pedras queimadas! Serão eles capazes de as pôr como novas?”

och drev med oss inför sina bröder och inför armén i Samaria: ”Vad gör de där eländiga judarna? Tror de att de ska kunna bygga upp muren och offra och klara av allt på en dag? Ska de kunna ge liv åt de där förbrända stenarna i grushögarna?”

เขาถากถางพวกเราต่อหน้าเพื่อนพ้องและกองทัพสะมาเรียว่า “เจ้ายิวกระจอกงอกง่อยพวกนี้กำลังทำอะไรอยู่? จะซ่อมกำแพงหรือ? จะถวายเครื่องบูชาหรือ? จะสร้างเสร็จในวันเดียวหรือ? จะเอาหินไหม้ดำจากกองขยะกลับมาใช้อีกหรือ?”

当着他的同僚和撒玛利亚军兵的面说：“这群弱小的犹太人在做什么呢？要重建城墙吗？要献祭吗？要在一日之间建好吗？要用废墟中烧过的石头来建造吗？”

对 他 弟 兄 和 撒 玛 利 亚 的 军 兵 说 ： 这 些 软 弱 的 犹 大 人 做 甚 麽 呢 ？ 要 保 护 自 己 麽 ？ 要 献 祭 麽 ？ 要 一 日 成 功 麽 ？ 要 从 土 堆 里 拿 出 火 烧 的 石 头 再 立 墙 麽 ？

當著他的同僚和撒瑪利亞軍兵的面說：「這群弱小的猶太人在做什麼呢？要重建城牆嗎？要獻祭嗎？要在一日之間建好嗎？要用廢墟中燒過的石頭來建造嗎？」
