Nahum 2:3

The shields of his soldiers [of [c]Media and Babylon] are colored red;The warriors are dressed in scarlet.The chariots blaze with fire of [flashing] steelWhen he is prepared to march,And the cypress spears are brandished [for battle].

The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.

The shields of the soldiers are red. The warriors are dressed in bright red uniforms.The metal on their chariots flashes when they are prepared for war. Their spears made out of juniper are ready to use.

تُرُوسُ أَبْطَالِهِ مُخَضَّبَةٌ بِالاحْمِرَارِ، وَجُنُودُهُ الْمُحَارِبُونَ مُسَرْبَلُونَ بِالْقِرْمِزِ. يَبْرُقُ فُولاذُ الْمَرْكَبَاتِ فِي يَوْمِ تَأَهُّبِهَا، وَتَتَبَخْتَرُ جِيَادُهَا.

兵士の盾は太陽の光を受け、真っ赤に輝く。攻撃開始だ。深紅の軍服を見よ。飛び跳ねる馬に引かれて、ぴかぴかの戦車が並んで進んで来るのを見よ。

적군이 붉은 방패를 들고 붉은 제복을 입고 공격 태세를 갖추었으므로 전차가 번쩍이고 소나무 창이 춤을 추고 있다.

Kijk eens: rode schilden! En die soldaten hebben felrode uniformen aan. Het staal van de strijdwagens schittert als de wagens optrekken, de speren worden dreigend geheven.

Hans soldaters sköldar lyser röda, krigarna har klätt sig i purpur. Vagnarnas stål glänser som eld, man svingar sina spjut av cypress.[a]
