Malachi 1:8

When you [priests] present the [c]blind [animals] for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and the sick, is it not evil? Offer such a thing [as a blind or lame or sick animal] to your governor [as a gift or as payment for your taxes]. Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you graciously?” says the Lord of hosts.

And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts.

But when you present the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? [j]Why not offer it to your governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly?” says the Lord of hosts.

You sacrifice blind animals to me. Isn’t that wrong? You sacrifice disabled or sick animals. Isn’t that wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?” says the Lord who rules over all.

When you give blind animals as sacrifices, isn’t that wrong? And isn’t it wrong to offer animals that are crippled and diseased? Try giving gifts like that to your governor, and see how pleased he is!” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

عِنْدَمَا تُقَرِّبُونَ الْحَيَوَانَ الأَعْمَى ذَبِيحَةً، أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ شَرّاً؟ أَوْ حِينَ تُقَدِّمُونَ الْحَيَوَانَ الأَعْرَجَ وَالْمَرِيضَ، أَلَيْسَ هَذَا شَرّاً؟ قَدِّمُوا مِثْلَ هَذَا الْقُرْبَانِ هَدِيَّةً لِحَاكِمِكُمْ، أَفَيَرْضَى عَنْكُمْ وَيُكْرِمُكُمْ؟» يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ.

Er det måske ikke forkasteligt at ofre syge, lamme og blinde dyr til mig? Prøv at bringe sådanne gaver til jeres guvernør! Vil han synes om dem og gøre, hvad I beder ham om?

Wenn ihr mir als Opfer ein blindes Tier darbringt, denkt ihr: ›Das ist nicht so schlimm!‹ Und wenn es ein lahmes oder krankes ist, meint ihr: ›Das macht nichts!‹ Bietet ein solches Tier doch einmal eurem Statthalter an! Ich, der Herr, der allmächtige Gott, frage euch: Glaubt ihr wirklich, er würde zufrieden mit euch sein und die Gabe freundlich annehmen?

Traéis animales ciegos para el sacrificio, y pensáis que no tiene nada de malo; sacrificáis animales cojos o enfermos, y pensáis que no tiene nada de malo. ¿Por qué no tratáis de ofrecérselos a vuestro gobernante? ¿Creéis que él estaría contento con vosotros? ¿Os ganaríais su favor? —dice el Señor Todopoderoso—.

Ustedes traen animales ciegos para el sacrificio, y piensan que no tiene nada de malo; sacrifican animales cojos o enfermos, y piensan que no tiene nada de malo. ¿Por qué no tratan de ofrecérselos a su gobernante? ¿Creen que estaría él contento con ustedes? ¿Se ganarían su favor? —dice el Señor Todopoderoso—.

Amo gani nga nagahalad kamo sang mga sapat nga bulag, piang, ukon masakiton. Indi ina husto! Tilawi bala ninyo nga hatagan ang inyo gobernador sang pareho sina nga klase sang mga sapat. Sigurado gid nga indi siya malipay sa inyo kag indi niya kamo pagpakitaan sang kaayo.” Amo ini ang ginsiling sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom.

あなたがたは人々に教えている。『主の祭壇に足の悪い動物をささげてもよい。病気の動物や目の見えない動物でもよい。』これを悪いことではないと言い張るのか。あなたがたの総督に、同じことをしてみるがよい。同じような贈り物を贈ってみるがよい。総督がそれを喜んで受け取るだろうか。

너희가 눈멀고 병들고 저는 짐승을 나에게 제물로 바치는 것이 악하지 않느냐? 너희는 그것을 너희 총독에게 바쳐 보아라. 그가 너희를 좋아하며 너희를 기꺼이 받아들이겠느냐?

En als wordt toegestaan dat iemand een blind dier offert, is dat dan niet erg? Als de mensen wordt verteld dat zij gerust een kreupel of ziek dier mogen offeren, is dat dan niet vreselijk? Probeer uw gouverneur eens zoiets aan te bieden. Denkt u heus dat hij er blij mee zou zijn of u vriendelijk zou behandelen?

“Na hora de trazerem animais cegos para sacrificar, vocês não vêem mal algum. Na hora de trazerem animais aleijados e doentes como oferta, também não vêem mal algum. Tentem oferecê-los de presente ao governador! Será que ele se agradará de vocês? Será que os atenderá?”, pergunta o Senhor dos Exércitos.

Quando oferecem em sacrifício um animal cego, não é isso errado? E quando oferecem animais aleijados ou doentes, isso também não é errado? Façam o mesmo com o vosso governador, tentem dar-lhe de presente um animal assim e verifiquem se fica satisfeito, diz o Senhor dos exércitos.

Când aduceţi ca jertfă animale oarbe, nu este acesta un lucru rău? Iar când aduceţi animale şchioape sau bolnave, nu este acesta un lucru rău?[e] Încearcă să-i aduci astfel de daruri guvernatorului tău! Va fi el oare mulţumit de tine? Te va lua el în seamă? zice Domnul Oştirilor.“

När ni bär fram ett blint offerdjur, är det inte något ont? När ni bär fram ett halt och sjukt offerdjur, är det inte något ont? Försök komma med sådana offer till din ståthållare! Skulle han gilla dig och ta emot dig välvilligt? säger härskarornas Herre.

ไม่ผิดหรือที่เจ้านำสัตว์ตาบอดมาถวายบูชา? ไม่ผิดหรือที่เจ้าถวายสัตว์พิการหรือเป็นโรค? ลองถวายให้ผู้ว่าการของเจ้าดูสิ! เขาจะพอใจเจ้าไหม? เขาจะยอมรับเจ้าไหม?” พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ตรัสดังนั้น

你们拿瞎眼、瘸腿和有病的牲畜来献祭，难道这不是罪过吗？你试试把这样的东西送给你的省长，看他会不会悦纳你、恩待你。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

你 们 将 瞎 眼 的 献 为 祭 物 ， 这 不 为 恶 麽 ？ 将 瘸 腿 的 、 有 病 的 献 上 ， 这 不 为 恶 麽 ？ 你 献 给 你 的 省 长 ， 他 岂 喜 悦 你 ， 岂 能 看 你 的 情 面 麽 ？ 这 是 万 军 之 耶 和 华 说 的 。

你們拿瞎眼、瘸腿和有病的牲畜來獻祭，難道這不是罪過嗎？你試試把這樣的東西送給你的省長，看他會不會悅納你、恩待你。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
