Luke 6:9

Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you directly: Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Then Jesus addressed them, “Let me ask you something: What kind of action suits the Sabbath best? Doing good or doing evil? Helping people or leaving them helpless?” 10-11 He looked around, looked each one in the eye. He said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” He held it out—it was as good as new! They were beside themselves with anger, and started plotting how they might get even with him. The Twelve Apostles12-16 At about that same time he climbed a mountain to pray. He was there all night in prayer before God. The next day he summoned his disciples; from them he selected twelve he designated as apostles:Simon, whom he named Peter,Andrew, his brother,James,John,Philip,Bartholomew,Matthew,Thomas,James, son of Alphaeus,Simon, called the Zealot,Judas, son of James,Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. You’re Blessed17-21 Coming down off the mountain with them, he stood on a plain surrounded by disciples, and was soon joined by a huge congregation from all over Judea and Jerusalem, even from the seaside towns of Tyre and Sidon. They had come both to hear him and to be cured of their ailments. Those disturbed by evil spirits were healed. Everyone was trying to touch him—so much energy surging from him, so many people healed! Then he spoke:You’re blessed when you’ve lost it all.God’s kingdom is there for the finding.You’re blessed when you’re ravenously hungry.Then you’re ready for the Messianic meal.You’re blessed when the tears flow freely.Joy comes with the morning. 22-23 “Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don’t like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this. Give Away Your Life

And Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?”

Entonces Jesús, dirigiéndose a los escribas y los fariseos, les dijo: —Dejadme que os haga una pregunta: ¿Qué nos permite la ley que hagamos en sábado, el bien o el mal, salvar una vida o destruirla?

Then Jesus said to them, “What does the Law say we should do on the Sabbath day? Should we do good? Or should we do evil? Should we save life? Or should we destroy it?”

Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”

Then Jesus said to them, ‘I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?’

Then Jesus said to his critics, “I have a question for you. Does the law permit good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing evil? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?”

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ يَسُوعُ: «أَسْأَلُكُمْ سُؤَالاً: أَيَحِلُّ فِي السَّبْتِ فِعْلُ الْخَيْرِ أَمْ فِعْلُ الشَّرِّ؟ تَخْلِيصُ النَّفْسِ أَوْ إِهْلاكُهَا؟»

Unya miingon si Jesus sa mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan ug sa mga Pariseo, “Unsa ba diay ang gitugot sa atong Kasugoan sa Adlaw nga Igpapahulay: ang paghimo ba ug maayo o ang paghimo ug daotan? Ang pagluwas ba sa kinabuhi, o ang pagpatay?”

Ježíš pak oslovil všechny přítomné: „Ptám se vás, má se podle zákona konat v sobotu dobro, nebo zlo? Má se člověk zachránit, nebo nechat hynout?“

Så vendte Jesus sig mod farisæerne og de skriftlærde og spurgte: „Hvad siger Guds Lov? Skal hviledagen bruges til noget godt eller noget ondt, til at redde liv eller til at ødelægge liv?”

Nun wandte sich Jesus an die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten: »Ich will euch etwas fragen: Soll man am Sabbat Gutes tun oder Böses? Soll man das Leben eines Menschen retten oder soll man ihn zugrunde gehen lassen?«

―Voy a haceros una pregunta: ¿Qué está permitido hacer en sábado: hacer el bien o el mal, salvar una vida o destruirla?

Entonces Jesús dijo a los otros:—Voy a hacerles una pregunta: ¿Qué está permitido hacer en sábado: hacer el bien o el mal, salvar una vida o destruirla?

Alors Jésus s’adressa aux autres : J’ai une question à vous poser : Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien, ou de faire du mal ? Est-il permis de sauver une vie ou bien faut-il la laisser périr ?

ישוע פנה אל הסופרים והפרושים: "יש לי שאלה אליכם: על-פי התורה, האם עלינו לעשות בשבת מעשים טובים, או מעשים רעים? האם עלינו להציל חיים בשבת, או להרסם?"

Dayon siling ni Jesus sa mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag sa mga Pariseo, “Ano bala ang ginatugot sang aton Kasuguan sa Adlaw nga Inugpahuway: ang paghimo sang maayo sa mga tawo, ukon ang paghimo sang malain? Ang pagluwas sang ila kabuhi, ukon ang pagpatay?”

Tada Isus reče farizejima i pismoznancima: 'Znamo što nam naš Zakon dopušta činiti subotom: dobro, a ne zlo. Dopušta nam spasiti život, a ne uništiti ga.>>

Allora Gesù disse ai Farisei e ai dottori della legge: «Vorrei farvi una domanda. Che cosa è permesso fare di sabato, secondo la legge? Del bene o del male? Salvare una vita o distruggerla?»

イエスはパリサイ人たちに、「ひとつ聞きたいのですが、安息日に良いことをするのと悪いことをするのと、どちらが正しいでしょうか。人のいのちを救うのと、いのちを奪うのと、どちらが正しいでしょうか」とお尋ねになりました。

그때 예수님은 그들을 향하여 “하나 물어 보자. 안식일에 선한 일을 하는 것과 악한 일을 하는 것, 사람을 살리는 것과 죽이는 것 중에 어느 것이 옳으냐?” 하고 물으셨다.

Så vendte Jesus seg til fariseerne og de skriftlærde og sa: ”La meg få spørre dere om en ting: Hva er tillatt å gjøre på hviledagen i følge Moseloven[j]? Skal vi gjøre godt eller skal vi gjøre ondt? Skal vi redde liv eller skal vi drepe noen?”

Jezus zei tegen de Farizeeën en de bijbelgeleerden: ‘Ik heb een vraag: wat moet men op de sabbat doen? Goed of slecht? Moet men een leven redden of het verloren laten gaan?’

Apoi Isus le-a zis lor: „Vă întreb: este voie în ziua de Sabat să faci bine sau să faci rău, să salvezi o viaţă sau s-o distrugi?“

Nato oslovil Ježiš farizejov a učiteľov Zákona: Chcem sa vás spýtať, či sa smie v sobotu konať dobro alebo zlo? Či je dovolené zachrániť život, alebo ho zahubiť?"

Jesus sa till dem: ”Låt mig få fråga er en sak: Vad är tillåtet på sabbaten, att göra gott eller att göra ont, att rädda liv eller att förgöra det?”

耶稣问众人：“我问你们，在安息日应该行善呢，还是作恶呢？救人呢，还是害人呢？”

耶 稣 对 他 们 说 ： 我 问 你 们 ， 在 安 息 日 行 善 行 恶 ， 救 命 害 命 ， 那 样 是 可 以 的 呢 ？

耶穌問眾人：「我問你們，在安息日應該行善呢，還是作惡呢？救人呢，還是害人呢？」
