Luke 23:22

A third time he said to them, “Why, what wrong has He done? I have found no guilt [no crime, no offense] in Him demanding death; therefore I will punish Him [to teach Him a lesson] and release Him.”

And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

He tried a third time. “But for what crime? I’ve found nothing in him deserving death. I’m going to warn him to watch his step and let him go.” 23-25 But they kept at it, a shouting mob, demanding that he be crucified. And finally they shouted him down. Pilate caved in and gave them what they wanted. He released the man thrown in prison for rioting and murder, and gave them Jesus to do whatever they wanted. Skull Hill26-31 As they led him off, they made Simon, a man from Cyrene who happened to be coming in from the countryside, carry the cross behind Jesus. A huge crowd of people followed, along with women weeping and carrying on. At one point Jesus turned to the women and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t cry for me. Cry for yourselves and for your children. The time is coming when they’ll say, ‘Lucky the women who never conceived! Lucky the wombs that never gave birth! Lucky the breasts that never gave milk!’ Then they’ll start calling to the mountains, ‘Fall down on us!’ calling to the hills, ‘Cover us up!’ If people do these things to a live, green tree, can you imagine what they’ll do with deadwood?”

And he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt demanding death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.”

Por tercera vez preguntó Pilato: —Pero ¿cuál es su delito? Yo no descubro en él ninguna causa por la que condenarlo a muerte. Ordenaré que lo azoten y lo suelten.

Pilate spoke to them for the third time. “Why?” he asked. “What wrong has this man done? I have found no reason to have him put to death. So I will just have him whipped and let him go.”

For the third time he spoke to them: “Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him.”

فَسَأَلَهُمْ ثَالِثَةً: «فَأَيَّ شَرٍّ فَعَلَ هَذَا؟ لَمْ أَجِدْ فِيهِ ذَنْباً عُقُوبَتُهُ الْمَوْتُ. فَسَأَجْلِدُهُ إِذَنْ وَأُطْلِقُهُ!»

Miingon pa gayod kanila si Pilato sa ikatulo nga higayon, “Ngano, unsa ba ang sala nga iyang nabuhat? Wala man akoy nakita nga sala kaniya nga angay siyang silotan ug kamatayon. Ipalatigo ko siya ug unya buhian dayon.”

Zkusil to ještě do třetice: „Ale čím se provinil? Nedokázal jsem mu přece nic, za co je podle zákona trest smrti. Dám ho zbičovat a propustím ho.“

For tredje gang råbte Pilatus til dem: „Hvorfor? Hvad ondt har han gjort? Jeg finder ingen grund til, at han skal dø. Jeg vil lade ham piske, og så vil jeg løslade ham!”

Pilatus versuchte es zum dritten Mal: »Was für ein Verbrechen hat er denn begangen? Ich finde nichts, worauf die Todesstrafe steht! Ich werde ihn also auspeitschen lassen. Dann soll er frei sein.«

Naghambal pa gid sa ila si Pilato sa ikatlo, “Ngaa, ano gid bala nga sala ang nahimo niya? Wala ako sing may nakita nga sala sa iya nga takos sang kamatayon. Ipahanot ko siya kag buy-an dayon.”

For tredje gangen spurte Pilatus: ”Hva ondt har han gjort? Jeg har ikke funnet noen grunn til å dømme ham til døden. Pilát sa ešte tretí raz pokúsil ich presvedčiť: Akého zločinu sa dopustil? Nenašiel som uňho nijakú vinu, za ktorú by si zaslúžil trest smrti. Dám ho zbičovať a potom ho prepustím."

För tredje gången frågade Pilatus: ”Vad har han gjort för ont? Jag har inte funnit honom skyldig till något som förtjänar döden. Jag kommer bara att straffa honom och sedan låta honom gå.”
