Luke 12:41

Peter said, “Lord, are You addressing this parable to us [disciples], or to everyone else as well?” Parable of the Faithful Steward

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

Peter said, “Master, are you telling this story just for us? Or is it for everybody?” 42-46 The Master said, “Let me ask you: Who is the dependable manager, full of common sense, that the master puts in charge of his staff to feed them well and on time? He is a blessed man if when the master shows up he’s doing his job. But if he says to himself, ‘The master is certainly taking his time,’ begins maltreating the servants and maids, throws parties for his friends, and gets drunk, the master will walk in when he least expects it, give him the thrashing of his life, and put him back in the kitchen peeling potatoes. 47-48 “The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he’ll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities! To Start a Fire49-53 “I’ve come to start a fire on this earth—how I wish it were blazing right now! I’ve come to change everything, turn everything rightside up—how I long for it to be finished! Do you think I came to smooth things over and make everything nice? Not so. I’ve come to disrupt and confront! From now on, when you find five in a house, it will be—Three against two, and two against three;Father against son, and son against father;Mother against daughter, and daughter against mother;Mother-in-law against bride, and bride against mother-in-law.” 54-56 Then he turned to the crowd: “When you see clouds coming in from the west, you say, ‘Storm’s coming’—and you’re right. And when the wind comes out of the south, you say, ‘This’ll be a hot one’—and you’re right. Frauds! You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don’t tell me you can’t tell a change in the season, the God-season we’re in right now. 57-59 “You don’t have to be a genius to understand these things. Just use your common sense, the kind you’d use if, while being taken to court, you decided to settle up with your accuser on the way, knowing that if the case went to the judge you’d probably go to jail and pay every last penny of the fine. That’s the kind of decision I’m asking you to make.”

Peter said, “Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?”

Pedro le preguntó: —Señor, ¿a quiénes diriges estas palabras, solamente a nosotros o a todo el mundo? 42-4El Señor respondió: —Esto se lo digo a toda persona fiel que, como un mayordomo, recibe de su señor el encargo de distribuir a su debido tiempo los alimentos al resto de la servidumbre. Si su señor, al regresar, ve que ha cumplido con su deber, lo premiará nombrándolo administrador de sus bienes;

Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this story to us, or to everyone?”

Peter asked, “Lord, is that illustration just for us or for everyone?”

وَسَأَلَهُ بُطْرُسُ: «يَا رَبُّ، أَلَنَا تَضْرِبُ هَذَا الْمَثَلَ أَمْ لِلْجَمِيعِ عَلَى السَّوَاءِ؟»

Nangutana si Pedro, “Ginoo, alang kang kinsa man kanang maong sambingay, kanamo ba nga imong mga tinun-an o alang sa tanan?”

Petr se zeptal: „Pane, to, co říkáš, platí jenom nám, anebo všem lidem?“

Peter spurgte: „Er det med henblik på os, du fortæller den historie, eller gælder det alle?”

Da fragte ihn Petrus: »Herr, gilt dieses Gleichnis nur uns oder meinst du alle Menschen damit?«

―Señor —le preguntó Pedro—, ¿cuentas esta parábola por nosotros o por todos?

Pierre lui demanda : Seigneur, cette parabole s’applique-t-elle seulement à nous, ou bien concerne-t-elle tout le monde ?

"אדון," פתח פטרוס בשאלה, "האם מכוון המשל הזה אלינו בלבד או אל כולם?"

Nagpamangkot si Pedro, “Ginoo, para bala kay sin-o ang paanggid nga ina, sa amon bala ukon sa tanan?”

'Gospodine, jesi li tu prispodobu ispričao samo nama ili svima?' upita Petar.

Allora Pietro chiese: «Signore, stai parlando solo per noi o per tutti?» 42-44 E il Signore rispose: «Le mie parole sono dirette a qualsiasi uomo fedele e saggio a cui il padrone ha affidato il compito di distribuire il cibo agli altri servi. Se il padrone torna e trova che ha fatto un buon lavoro, per lui ci sarà una ricompensa: il padrone gli affiderà tutti i suoi beni.

ペテロが、いぶかしげに尋ねました。「主よ。今のお話は、私たちにだけ話されたのですか。それとも、ここにいるみんなのためなのですか。」 42-44 イエスは、お答えになりました。「では、こう言えばわかるでしょうか。主人の留守中、ほかの召使たちの面倒を見る責任を負わされた、忠実で賢い人たちに話しているのです。主人が戻った時、かいがいしく働いているところを見られるなら、ほんとうに幸いです。主人から全財産を任されることになるでしょう。

그때 베드로가 예수님께 “주님, 이 비유를 우리에게 말씀하시는 것입니까, 아니면 모든 사람에게 말씀하시는 것입니까?” 하고 묻자

Peter spurte: ”Herre, snakker du nå bare til oss, eller gjelder dette også for alle?”

Petrus vroeg: ‘Is dit voor iedereen bestemd? Of alleen voor ons?’

—Panie—zapytał Piotr—czy tę opowieść kierujesz tylko do nas, czy do wszystkich?

Pedro perguntou: “Senhor, estás contando esta parábola para nós ou para todos?”

Pedro perguntou: “Senhor, essa parábola que contas é só para nós ou é também para toda a gente?”

Petru L-a întrebat:– Doamne, pentru noi spui pilda aceasta sau pentru toţi?

Peter sa ho spýtal: Pane, to vravíš len nám, alebo to platí pre všetkých?"

Petrus frågade: ”Herre, talar du denna liknelse bara till oss, eller gäller detta alla?”

Ndipo Petro akamwambia, “Bwana, mfano huu unatuambia sisi peke yetu au watu wote?”

เปโตรทูลว่า “พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์ตรัสคำอุปมานี้กับพวกข้าพระองค์หรือกับทุกคน?”

彼得问：“主啊！你这比喻是讲给我们听的，还是讲给众人听的呢？”

彼 得 说 ： 主 阿 ， 这 比 喻 是 为 我 们 说 的 呢 ？ 还 是 为 众 人 呢 ？

彼得問：「主啊！你這比喻是講給我們聽的，還是講給眾人聽的呢？」
