Luke 11:42

“But woe (judgment is coming) to you Pharisees, because you [self-righteously] [l]tithe mint and [m]rue and every [little] garden herb [tending to all the minutiae], and yet disregard and neglect justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done, without neglecting the others.

But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

“I’ve had it with you! You’re hopeless, you Pharisees! Frauds! You keep meticulous account books, tithing on every nickel and dime you get, but manage to find loopholes for getting around basic matters of justice and God’s love. Careful bookkeeping is commendable, but the basics are required. 43-44 “You’re hopeless, you Pharisees! Frauds! You love sitting at the head table at church dinners, love preening yourselves in the radiance of public flattery. Frauds! You’re just like unmarked graves: People walk over that nice, grassy surface, never suspecting the rot and corruption that is six feet under.”

“But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.

“How terrible it will be for you Pharisees! You give God a tenth of your garden plants, such as mint and rue. But you have forgotten to be fair and to love God. You should have practiced the last things without failing to do the first.

“Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.

“What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens,[m] but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.

وَلكِنِ الْوَيْلُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْفَرِّيسِيُّونَ فَإِنَّكُمْ تَدْفَعُونَ عُشْرَ النَّعْنَعِ وَالسَّذَّابِ وَالْبُقُولِ الأُخْرَى، وَتَتَجَاوَزُونَ عَنِ الْعَدْلِ وَمَحَبَّةِ اللهِ: كَانَ يَجِبُ أَنْ تَعْمَلُوا هَذَا وَلا تُهْمِلُوا ذَاكَ!

“Alaot kamong mga Pariseo! Gihatag ninyo ang inyong ikapulo bisan pa ang gikan sa inyong mga lamas, apan wala ninyo hatagig pagtagad ang paghimo ug matarong ngadto sa inyong isigka-tawo ug ang paghigugma sa Dios. Kinahanglan nga himuon ninyo kini nga walay pagpasagad sa paghatag sa inyong ikapulo.

Běda vám, farizejové! Pečlivě odvádíte desátý díl ze všeho, i z máty, heřmánku a každého koření, ale nejednáte spravedlivě a podle lásky k Bohu. Je pěkné, že odvádíte desátky, ale to hlavní byste neměli zanedbávat.

Ve jer farisæere, for I er omhyggelige med at give tiende af alle jeres indtægter, men I går let hen over retfærdighed og kærlighed til Gud. Det er nødvendigt at gøre det ene, men I må ikke forsømme det andet.

Wehe euch, ihr Pharisäer! Sogar von Küchenkräutern wie Minze und Raute und auch von allen anderen Gewürzen gebt ihr Gott den zehnten Teil. Aber das, was viel wichtiger wäre – Gerechtigkeit und die Liebe zu Gott –, ist euch gleichgültig. Doch gerade darum geht es hier: das Wesentliche tun und das andere nicht unterlassen.

"אוי לכם הפרושים! אתם אומנם מקפידים לשלם מעשר מכל הכנסה, ולו גם הקטנה ביותר, אבל אתם מזניחים לחלוטין את הצדק ואת אהבת האלוהים. ודאי שעליכם לשלם מעשר, אבל לא על חשבון חובותיכם האחרים!

“Kaluluoy kamo nga mga Pariseo! Ginahatag ninyo ang inyo ikanapulo bisan sang inyo mga panakot, pero ginabaliwala ninyo ang paghimo sang matarong sa inyo isigkatawo kag ang paghigugma sa Dios. Maghatag kamo sang inyo ikanapulo pero indi ninyo pag-ibaliwala ang paghimo sang sinang mas importante nga mga butang.

Teško vama, farizeji! Jer revno namirujete čak i desetinu metvice, rutvice i svake vrste povrća, a ne marite za Božju pravednost i ljubav. Treba davati desetinu, ali ne smijete zanemarivati važnije stvari.[h]

Ma guai a voi, Farisei, che siete scrupolosi nel dare la decima, anche della più piccola parte delle vostre entrate, ma trascurate completamente la giustizia e lʼamore di Dio! Certo, è giusto dare la decima, ma non dovreste trascurare tutte le altre cose.

あなたがたパリサイ人は、実にいまわしい者です。どんなわずかな収入でも、実にきちょうめんに十分の一をささげていながら、正義を行うことと神を愛することは、きれいさっぱり忘れているのですから。もちろん、十分の一献金は大いにけっこうです。しかし、もっと大切なことをなおざりにしては意味がありません。

“바리새파 사람들아, 너희에게 불행이 닥칠 것이다. 너희는 박하와 운향과 온갖 채소의 십일조는 바치면서 정의와 하나님께 대한 사랑은 저버렸다. 그러나 십일조도 바치고 이것도 버리지 말았어야 했다.

Ulykken vil ramme dere fariseere! Dere gir Gud en tiendedel[i] av den minste lille krydderplante, som mynte og karve og av alle grønsaker, men bryr dere ikke om å elske Gud og være rettferdige mot andre. Visst skal dere gi Gud en tiendedel av alt, men glem ikke det som er det aller viktigste.

U geeft tien procent van wat u heeft aan munt en andere kruiden aan de tempel, maar u denkt er niet aan rechtvaardig te zijn en God lief te hebben. En daar komt het nu juist op aan. U moet het ene doen en het andere niet nalaten.

Lecz marny wasz los, faryzeusze! Bo chociaż skrupulatnie dajecie Bogu dziesiątą część swoich najdrobniejszych nawet dochodów, to lekceważycie Bożą prawość i miłość. A to jest przecież najważniejsze, choć o dziesięcinie również nie należy zapominać.

Dar vai de voi, fariseilor! Căci voi daţi zeciuială din mentă, din rută şi din orice zarzavat, dar neglijaţi dreptatea şi dragostea lui Dumnezeu! Pe acestea trebuia să le faceţi, iar pe acelea să nu le neglijaţi!

Beda vám, farizeji, ktorí starostlivo dbáte, aby ste dávali desiatu čiastku zo všetkých svojich príjmov, ale zabúdate na spravodlivosť a lásku, ktorú žiada Boh. Je pekné, že odvádzate desiatky, ale to podstatné by ste nemali zanedbávať.

Ve er, fariseer! Ni ger Gud en tiondel[f] av mynta och vinruta, och av alla grönsaker, men ni struntar i rättvisan och kärleken till Gud. Visst ska ni göra det ena, men försumma inte det andra.

“Lakini ole wenu, Mafarisayo! Ninyi mnamtolea Mungu sehemu ya kumi ya mnanaa, mchicha na kila aina ya mboga lakini mnapuuza haki na kumpenda Mungu. Mngeweza kutoa matoleo hayo pasipo kusahau haki na upendo kwa Mungu.

“วิบัติแก่เจ้า พวกฟาริสี เจ้าถวายสิบลดของสะระแหน่ ขมิ้น และเครื่องเทศทั้งปวงของเจ้าแด่พระเจ้า แต่เจ้าละเลยความยุติธรรมและความรักของพระเจ้า เจ้าควรปฏิบัติอย่างหลังโดยไม่ละเลยอย่างแรก

“法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们将薄荷、茴香、各样蔬菜献上十分之一，却忽略了上帝的公义和仁爱。后者是你们本该做的，前者也不可忽略。

你 们 法 利 赛 人 有 祸 了 ！ 因 为 你 们 将 薄 荷 、 芸 香 并 各 样 菜 蔬 献 上 十 分 之 一 ， 那 公 义 和 爱 神 的 事 反 倒 不 行 了 。 这 原 是 你 们 当 行 的 ； 那 也 是 不 可 不 行 的 。

「法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！你們將薄荷、茴香、各樣蔬菜獻上十分之一，卻忽略了上帝的公義和仁愛。後者是你們本該做的，前者也不可忽略。
